Experience home-grown healing power with THAYERS® Original Facial Toner. This gentle toner is derived from a time-honored formula, developed by Thayers to cleanse, tone, moisturize, and balance the pH level of skin. In addition to containing certified organic Aloe Vera, this unique, proprietary blend also contains certified organic, non-distilled Witch Hazel that’s grown exclusively for Thayers on a family farm in Fairfield County, Connecticut. By avoiding distillation of our Witch Hazel, we’re able to preserve the naturally-occurring, beneficial tannins, which are known to offer antioxidant and antibacterial benefits, and bring about a natural glow. Thayers elixirs have been a fixture in medicine cabinets for generations – once you use them, you’ll know why.

I love Thayers and their alcohol free toner. I've been using the toner at least twice daily. It keeps my face from becoming too oily throughout the day. I've also been noticing a considerable decrease in the development of whiteheads and acne. I started with the Rose scent and have branched to try the other scents as I've run out. Although each scent supposedly offers different benefits based on its properties, I haven't noticed any major differences to my face overall. To me, it just depends on your preference towards the various scents when deciding on which alcohol free toner to choose. The Original scent smells the most like witch hazel. I don't mind the scent, but wouldn't recommend this scent if that's not what you like.
I've used witch hazel as a toner for many years but didn't realize until Googling it after reading the reviews that most likely what I'd always used has alcohol in it. Whatever the case, I definitely felt a difference the first time I used this. It seemed lighter and cleaner. There are times I'm too tired to wash my face and just use this because it nicely gets off dirt and make up. I ordered this because I like the bottle it's in. It might be more expensive than other witch hazels, but I think it worth it. I use moisturizer after, but even w/out it my face feels smooth after using this.
This Alcohol Free Toner is amazing!!! On my third day I can already see the difference. I will say that if you have more of a dryer can stay away from alcohol toners and for more of a oily to combo skin both type would work great but my personal preference is going alcohol free. Definitely worth the money!
