I bought this product a month ago. As a contact wearer I often choose Almay mascara as it doesn't bother my lenses. This mascara is a gloppy mess as it comes out of the tube. It requires scrapping the wand on the lip of the tube - but that still doesn't resolve the issue.
I have never written a review on ANYTHING before but people need to know that this is a waste of money. Worst flaking ever! It also claims to be good for sensitive eyes but the base of my eyelashes become so itchy and remain swollen for days even after washing off. I always uses the non waterproof kinds of mascara and they never flake like this. So in addition to the skin irritation the flakes fall in my eye with every blink. It also does nothing for enhancing eyelashes and comes out very uneven. Please don't waste your time or money and spare your eyes some pain.
I bought this a week ago and have used if daily. It flakes all over my eyes by mid afternoon. I was so disappointed. I have used the thickening mascara for years and loved it. I have used the Almay mascara forever, but this stuff was terrible. They didn't have any of my usual so I tried this, big mistake.
This is a very good mascara. No clumping, no flaking, easy to remove with Clinique Take the Day Off. It lengthens quite well with only one coat. Most importantly it caused no itching, redness or irritation. It’s the only mascara I have tried in years that I have been able to use. Will definitely be buying again.
I’ve used Almaty in the past and I liked it but wasn’t in love with it. So for years I have tried several high end and lots of. Drug store mascara. I just thought I try this new for me Almay Benifit mascara. I love this product!!! My lashes aren’t great but I look like I have fakes with this product!!! It also stays put and no more transfer under my eyes come evening time. My new go to! Please don’t ever change!!!
I bought this because I had an allergic reaction to Loreal’s lash paradise and thought Almay to be hypoallergenic. Long story short this is one of the best mascaras I have ever used (even compared to high end brands). I always use waterproof to prevent smearing and this definitely stays put all day. Goes on lashes beautifully. Not flaky nor clumpy. The tube opening holds back enough product without letting globs of mascara like big sexy brand and lash paradise. Love this product
I bought this product to replace my normal multi benefit mascara that I loved. It wasn’t obvious it was waterproof on the packaging - my mistake. It was however impossible to remove. Photo 1 shows the 2 mascaras next to each other. Photo 2 shows after rinsing and rubbing with warm water. Photo 3 shows washing and rubbing with soap. Photo 4 shows rubbing with mineral oil. The only way I could get this off my lashes was to scrape each lash with my fingernails.
