Lighter weight to hold, WAY longer battery life, and a screen so anti-glare that outdoors in the sun it's actually easier to read than real paper. I use mine for everthing from writing (external Bluetooth keyboard) to digital boardgames to editing videos for YouTube. And of course web surfing and email.

A: I'm typing on one right now. Mine's a Logitech. I touch type quite fast and there's no lag in response time. The only time I miss my computer is those rare instances when I wish I had a mouse cursor on the screen for better positioning control. Experimenting with a Bluetooth mouse is next on my list.
