You would want to purchase either the Alexa Voice Remote or Alexa Voice Remote Pro in order to pair with your TV. Hopefully this helps. Have a great day!

Q: Will this remote control my fire tv?
A: Hello Janet, the Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite does not have TV controls on the remote. You would have to step up to any of the other models to get TV controls on the remote. Have a great day!

Just plug the Fire TV Stick into the TV's HDMI port, and connect it to power and change to the input you've selected. From there the Fire TV Stick will walk you through the rest of the process.
