You can absolutely read books on your Kindle without internet, you'll just need to use a WiFi connection or PC to get them downloaded first. Once books have been loaded onto your device, they remain accessible even with no network connection. Once you get back online, your Kindle will automatically sync your reading status to all of your other Kindle devices. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!

Q: Can you purchase books via the Kindle?

On the Kindle, you can search for books and click on purchase, once purchased the book will download to your Kindle and be available to read. Have a great day!

Q: does it come with a charger?
A: Hi Sharo! The Kindle comes with a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, but it does not come with a wall adapter. Any standard USB-A (the rectangular one!) adapter should work just fine, and the Kindle will charge fully off a 9w adapter in about 2 hours. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!

The Amazon Kindles use a screen that mimics actual paper and makes for easy reading whether you are inside or outside. You can remove the ads through your Amazon Account settings for a small fee. Q: Does it have audio books?
A: Hi GloriaG, The Kindle does not have speakers, but you can pair bluetooth headphones to it! You can also have Alexa read to you via the Alexa app on your mobile device or any echo speaker if you choose to purchase an audiobook from audible, apple books, etc. Hope that helps!
