This trimmer traveled with me for 10 weeks throughout East Europe and still ran strong when I got home on its original battery. It's actually more powerful than my rechargeable trimmer and the AA battery is easy to replace. It's now my exclusive trimmer. Just one caveat: I dropped it on my tile floor and the switch stopped working. It was probably just an unlucky impact as I replaced it with the same unit and have had no problems since. Overall, great value!
