The Angelcare AC327 Baby Breathing Monitor, with Video is a dependable, trusted and beautifully designed baby care essential. It has Angelcare's new 40 % smaller Wireless SensAsure Breathing Sensor Pad. Rest assured, the pad offers the exact same precise levels of movement detection. The monitor's alarm will only sound if no movement is detected after 20 seconds letting parents relax. Advanced software allows a second Breathing Sensor Pad and Nursery Unit combination to be added, meaning it's perfect for monitoring multiples. You can also simply enjoy an extra Nursery Unit if you wish to monitor another child's room or even the playroom. The AC327 can also be used without the movement detection for those early toddler years.
I purchased this monitor 3 weeks ago and it’s proven to be unreliable and very poor quality. We’ve had multiple false alarms of the sensor pad going off with baby presently in the bassinet, as well as times where we’ve taken baby out of bassinet and the sensor alarm is delayed in going off of fails to go off altogether. Additionally, the video quality is extremely pixelated, can hardly tell if baby is moving at times. On occasion the picture quality is good enough to see if eyes are open, but it is very hit and miss in that regard, and this occurs with full battery and being in the same room as the monitor itself. The battery life on the parent unit is no good, I constantly need to have it plugged in charging and still, it will die in the middle of the night. Lastly, I’ve had instances where I can audibly hear my baby crying or grunting down the hall but the monitor fails to pick it up. I should note that our house is not large, and all of these issues have occurred while in the same floor as baby within close proximity. I do not recommend this product.
I love the idea for this system, but i will be returning. I like the breathing monitor and the price tag, but the alarm is constantly going off and you can’t pick the baby up without the alarm going off unless you pause the sensor and then you have to remember to turn it back on. The monitor is not responsive and is very dated. I will be returning for another monitor

It's just okay. I thought having the breathing sensor it would give me a peace of mind as a first time mom. But when the sensor is on and you go to get your baby (sleep deprived and all) and don't turn the sensor off, It's now beeping and going nuts. Then you have to reconnect it because it and all that jazz. The temperature light is very bright and there is no control to dim it. The volume buttons on the monitor are very non responsive, you have to press them multiple times before it will go up or down. The screen is also not very responsive and when it is dying makes this annoying buzzing noise. For the price I feel like it should be a lot better.
Recommended - the sensor pad is a winner for young

The Rolls Royce in the baby monitor market if I was buying one as a gift, especially if it was for a baby under 1 year, I would definitely choose this one. Pros: Easy setup and pairing Long-range - still connected when in the garden The parent unit takes a little bit of getting used to but after just one weekend we were poking it with confidence :) Excellent quality video Great audio The camera is easy to zoom, swivel and pan from the parent unit - Handy if you have more than one child in the same room Camera movement is virtually silent Night-time mode (i.e. See in the dark) The temperature reading matched our accurate thermometer in the room Battery strength is shown on the parent unit. Easy to take away with you if you're travelling
So I’m really not sure why the reviews are so high. Unless I’m missing some features I’m able to control. How do I turn the temperature light off or down? It’s facing the crib and it’s so bright! Defeats the purpose of a dark room. And that alarm is so loud and sensitive! Wakes everyone up in a panic.
We just switched our baby over from the bassinet in our room to her crib in the nursery. Being a first time mom I had such anxiety over this. Having the breathing monitor incorporated into the video monitor system put me at such easy and has helped us rest easy at night! Love how affordable this system is for everything you get!
I love how lightweight and compact the camera is, the clear image on the screen, and the breathing sensor. This takes peace of mind to a whole new level. I know the design isn't the most important, but I also love how sleek this camera is. I have used the monitor for my toddler and my 2 month old and love it. It is a win all around.
Started using Angelcare monitors with my first son, who is now 7 and upgraded to this newest model now for my 5 month old! Absolutely LOVE the quality and how clear the picture is! And the battery charge holds for SO LONG on the parent unit! Could not be happier with this video monitor! Highly recommend!
