Place this Animate Black Cat Statue Decorative Halloween Prop from Hyde & EEK! Boutique™ around your home to greet your guests for your Halloween gathering. When it detects motion, this real lifesized black cat statue moves its head and meows. Keep the animation on, or turn it off when you're ready for bed so no ghosts can set it off.
This hard plastic black cat makes the loudest "cat fighting" sounds ever. Watched it on Youtube and had to have it for when Trick or Treaters come to the front door; the cat will 'announce' their arrival before the door bell does; hah!
This animated cat was ordered online & then received through the mail very quickly. It arrived safely, but I did touch up the paint on it a bit. It's nice that there is a volume control & that there are modes for off, on, or motion activation. It should be a fun decoration for Halloween (or anytime you want to surprise someone)!
There is a volume control on the bottom so you can turn the sound down - or completely off. It's slightly larger than the average house cat. The eyes lit up and the head turned with the motion detector. A bit overpriced and not the best quality on the painting - I ended up repainting some areas. It didn't bother me the "try me" button didn't work. I'm sure the manufacturer added that feature so people shopping in the store could try it out. Overall a cute Halloween item.
This could have been great, but it wasn't. We had it shipped and the neck was nearly broken off, painted was scratched horribly. We will be returning it because of these issues. It *is* cute, and it's nice you can set the volume to where you want it. It also has a button to set it to motion detector, on all the time or off. Overall though, we didn't think it was worth $25, even if it had arrived in perfect condition.
In my household we love Halloween and decorating and we don't feel like somethings should have to wait just for the specific holiday to be in use. We currently added old school type tiki torches to our front yard and to us it looked kind of eery and haunted looking. So in addition we added a few odd statues and figures to make it really look different. one we added was a toy Rat that was huge and we put him in the front window pane outside, we then got the cat and thought wow this would go great out there with the rat. The cat is just awesome. The sounds it makes and the fact the head moves and the eyes light up made it an even better addition. I like that the cat has an on and off switch but also an option to go off the sensor. My kids just love walking past him and he just goes off screeching. it is awesome. Not to mention our neighbors cat had a meet and greet with him and now does not go messing in our yard with our other statues and the rat. I love this addition and can't wait til Halloween to give him more scary friends to play with out there in the yard.
This is a super cute cat! It's the size of a real, small cat, so I think it's size-appropriate. I didn't like that I needed a small screwdriver to open up where you put the batteries. It also didn't come with AA batteries. You need three. You can choose to press the button or have it on sensor mode. After you press the button, you have to wait for the cat to stop moving before you can press it again to make it meow and hiss. It moves for about 10 seconds after it stops meowing. After it stops, you can press the button again. The sensor mode worked for me as well. I walked past it and it meowed and hissed. It moves its head back and forth, too. You can also set the volume at the bottom of the base near the battery area. It's pretty loud on max volume, so I put the volume down towards the middle. Overall, it's super cute! I think I'm just going to have it out all-year-round. I'll just turn it off so it doesn't make any sound. I wish there was a plug option and that it came with batteries. It'll be cute for a Halloween party!
