Best antenna
Excellent antenna. TV towers 50 to 66 miles away in the foothills of the Smokies. Getting over 39 channels. With previous antenna was getting about 20 channels in good weather and as low as 5 depending on the weather. Easy assembly and installation.

Works Great!
I went from getting 44 channels with our old antenna to getting 105 channels with the new one. I mounted it in the same place as the old one under the soffit of the roof.

OK at 50 miles
The broadcast towers are 52-54 miles away from my house in North Texas, and this antenna, mounted in my attic, is able to capture a good signal from most of them. No matter which direction I point the antenna, I lose some stations and gain others, so I had to prioritize. The antenna itself is well built, but the advertised 70 miles seems like a stretch. Assembly was easy with the video.

It works well in my attic
It works beautifully and was quite easy to put together. I put mine in the attic. The signal booster did add channels. The antenna is directional so it limits me to the channels that I am aimed at but I get all the local stations with no problem.

This is a quality antenna. I am getting 40 channels over the air FOR FREE! And, I live in a rural area. I can only imagine how many channels you can get in a more populated area. This is great for cord cutting!

Not as good as I hoped
I replaced a very large, old antenna that was beginning to deteriorate, due to plastic parts failing. Chimney mount, on a rotar, just outside of Baltimore MD, and close to several stations. It really is no better than the 30 year old antenna I replaced. Still gets some pixilation during certain broadcasts. Ironically, commercials are always clear, but many sporting events have some problems. Overall, I am a tad disappointed, for the money it cost-- I am not sure it was a wise purchase.

The service department is as good as the antenna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i’ve been using this antenna for years. Reception Deteriorated because of water intrusion. Call Service Department they replaced the antenna with a newer upgraded model no questions asked and paid for shipping. You don’t see that anymore.

This antenna was easy to assemble, install on my roof, and adjust. Once I scanned for channels, I got 45 plus channels, although few VHS channels. I had to add a powered amplifier (supplied by Antennas Direct at an additional cost) because of the length of cable I was using weakened the signal the TV was receiving. Once this was added, I got 61 channels, including all the available VHS ones. Excellent picture and sound quality on all my TV's. The quality certainly matches that of my old CATV signal. Very pleased! My only suggestion would be to supply Stainless steel mounting bolts rather than the chrome plated ones which would withstand long term exposure to the elements better.

Beyond my Expectations
After researching this antenna, I decided to take a chance and try it on my home. The description for the ClearStream stated it will perform in heavy brush or wooded areas. My home is surrounded by woods! Assembly and installations was easy and the directions were clear. I also purchased a pre amplifier. Once all was installed, I was able to receive 80 over the channels, when my previous antenna received 20. I am very please with the results!!

Urban Nevada
Have been trying to cut cable and purchased the Clearstream Antenna and had our fingers crossed that it would work. And it did! We live in a northern Nevada rural area with a couple mountains we were afraid would interfere, but we get 17 channels which included ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. My husband had no problem putting it together and used the old cable wire to attach to the antenna. We did have to move it around the on the roof to find the optimum signal but no problems and great reception.
