Apple’s 5.5 inch flagship device, the iPhone 8 Plus, brings a drastic change to its existing lineup of smartphones. The phone includes a True Tone Retina HD display, with glass on the front and back, a 12 MP camera with an improved front Portrait mode and studio lighting effects, and a 7 MP Facetime HD camera. The splash-and-water-resistant-phone also packs Apple’s new A11 Bionic chip, Touch ID, and wireless charging. iPhone 8 Plus is available in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray with 64 GB and 256 GB built-in memory.
Bought this about one year ago and it still holds up well and holds a decent charge. Screen is good for only being LCD. If you're looking for a good reliable iPhone that won't cost you $1000 plus dollars i'd go for this one. Apple has a fantastic record of keeping their phones on the latest iOS software for years.
I only gave it 4 stars because compared to the S9 camera, this one doesn't come close, but the screen is amazing with almost all the same specs as the S9 other than the bottom speakers that the hands get in the way of and the camera. Otherwise, the screen is so much larger, this is worth the extra money, but if you are on a budget which who isn't, you can get the S9 at almost half the price and better camera, pixels on the screen and top mounted speakers. If you don't care about the camera and you use headphones, mostly, and have unlimited funds, get the S10plus, but a happy middle is the S8 Plus or the S9.
