A: I believe you need to have a MagSafe compatible case if you want to be guarenteed to charge through the case. I'm guessing some of the other cases will work if they are thin enough.

I wanted less clutter on my night stand. This duo charger quickly fixed that. It looks good on the night stand and it charges my iPhone 13, watch and air pods quickly. The only down side is I have to remove my phone case for the phone to charge quickly. I am sure if you purchase the proper phone case that is compatible with the charger, it'll charge the phone faster. Otherwise, it is worth the purchase.

The MagSafe Duo Charger is a fantastic charger that works both on your night stand or as a travel buddy. It folds up and is easily protable, while keeping it's important parts protected. It's not the fastest charger, but I don't need it to be. I use it on my bed side table to charge my iPhone 13 Pro Max and Apple Watch Gen 1. I haven't had any issues with it, but I could see that it could be frustrating to people who like to look at their phone while it charges.

Ease of use, portability. Can charge my phone and watch at the same and can also use either to charge my MagSafe AirPods Pro. Read some negative reviews, so am being sure to keep it protected during transport. Which it came with a storage case, but will probably make one myself.

The watch charger works fine, but the phone charger does not work. I’ve tried it with the case on and off, tried updating and restating my phone, but nothing works. It will light up and look like it’s charging but only goes up 1% overnight. I bought this in August and have had it for only 1 month. I don’t think it ever worked but I just started using it for a trip recently so I’m not sure. Will try to return it even though it’s outside the return window.
