Q: Is there a bottom on the shade (diffuser) that hides the bare bulb from the under side? One of the questions asked if there was a diffuser and you said yes. According to one of the photos showing the underside there is NO diffuser that I can see.

As soon as the first light bulb goes out the knob to turn it off or on stops working! My husband took the lamp apart to try and repair the switch but they sprayed adhesive glue inside, so you literally have to buy a whole new lamp! This lamp is so expensive and it lasts maybe a month, huge waste of money!

It was perfect for our living room and exactly the look we were going for. However, we've had this lamp now for about 2 years and it just stopped working today. I am not happy. While I realize this is not luxury lighting, I would definitely expect it to last a few more years than it did. Off to the junkyard, which is a problem too. Make better quality products please.

Love this lamp! It’s not short like most floor lamps tend to be, so it was great for arching over our corner couch without running into it. It’s dimmable with a knob on the poll, thankfully no foot switch. It’s very elegant and sturdy. Exactly what I was looking for!

This floor lamp looks so good in my living room! it definitely adds to the modern, comfortable, farmhouse-ish look that I'm going for! I've received many compliments on it, especially about the drum lamp shade. One feature that I think is perfect is the dimmer switch! I like being able to keep the lights dim while we're having a family movie night! The base is heavy and sturdy and the whole thing is built so well.

Somewhat unyielding to align all the pieces and assemble. Mine had been a return so had to deal with some problems with parts; however, when said and done, a very useful lamp. Bought the LED 150 watt variable bulb for maximum flexibility. Wonderful corner reading light with diffuser! Target is amazing to work with!

I’ve had my eye on this lamp for awhile and finally purchased it for my home office when it went on sale. It looks lovely with my new desk and is very functional. I like the fact that it has a dimmer function and a light diffuser. It lights the entire 12x13 office if I get paged and have to logon at night. It also easily moves to shine over the desk so I don’t have to have multiple lamps or lights on and still see the keyboard and notepad. I’m very happy with this purchase (1 week ago). The only drawbacks are: (a) the base seems a bit unstable - I could see this losing its integrity as it ages (I hope this is not the case) (b) the top of the shade is open - I foresee bugs dying in there - this is the south, after all. I also hope someone makes a soft light dimmable, LED bulb and I just don’t see it locally right now - but that isn’t a negative reflection on this product. You won’t be disappointed if you’re looking for an attractive, bight, dimmable light.

I ordered two of these lamps, and I'm really happy with them. Setup directions were clear and made it easy. Well- packaged so the shade kept its shape. The diffuser circle inserts into three shade separately which is a brilliant idea.
