Sadly disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really hoping this would cover a lot of the color in my hair, but it barely did anything. There isn’t a whole lot of pigment in this dye. I swear by this brand but I wouldn’t recommend this color :(

Do not buy!
Do not waste your money! Went from blonde to this brown and I ended up with blue and green hair! Washed out within 2 times.

Big let down
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used arctic fox and arctic fox only for hair color for years, I have recently transitioned back to natural and was so excited AF offered it now, I have dirty blonde/light brown hair, it literally did nothing, my hair did not deepen and my roots were not covered (I don’t even have greys) I let it sit for one hour and applied heat. Unfortunately big let down, I highly recommend their vibrants but I would pass on the naturals

For the love of your hair DONT DO IT!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT BUY!!! I have loved arctic fox for my hair in the past, but I would NOT recommend this color! The expressio brown cames out terrible and uneven. This is not a user issue but a dye issue. I had a solid washed out orange base with no history of the blue spectrum, but after the application I had blueish greenish streaks everywhere in brown. Mixed only this color dye before applying, so it should have been impossible to get that hideous streaky bluish greenish color. Color theory wise it still baffles me. I had to add more copper in my hair to cancel out that awful color. Will never get this color again. Should have checked the reviews beforehand, poorly rated for a reason. You take three steps back from the color you want if you use this product. I never post poor reviews but this one deserves it. They should remove it from the catalog. You will regret it.

Didn't work well on mature gray hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a gift for my mother who has nearly a whole head of gray hair, but unfortunately this did not "take" very well to her hair. I know a lot of AF colors aren't very gray hair friendly (the pastels, the blacklight) but I didn't think this one would follow that route.

My bad experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had any issues before with this brand until now. I think when spending $17 on a hair dye, enchanted espresso, that it would cover my roots. I bought 2 and only needed to use one. Second one was for back up. Not only did the dye not cover anything but the resurrection shampoo and conditioner were mediocre at best. I will still buy from the company but I had to give my honest opinion on these products. For the price the quality on these should have been better. Thanks.

Warm Color, Easy Application
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in between shades of purple and am unsure of what color I want to do next. I used espresso to blend in my roots while I decide what bold color I want to do next. It created a lovely color mixed with the existing purple. This color did an excellent job creating a rich blended brown from root to tip. Very happy as always with these products.

Waste of money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dye did not work on my hair. I left it in for almost 2 hours and you can't tell I applied anything. I did it right on my virgin roots and there was no change at all. It also didn't take to the rest of my hair, which has been previously dyed.

bad hair dye
this product is a very unflattering shade, kind of like a washed out muddy brown. it is also extremely patchy, sticking to some areas of hair more than others. upon using this product but also did some damage to my hair despite being demi permanent, it is very drying and overly filled the hair with protien. not worth it please don't risk putting on your hair

Not true to color swatches
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dye turned out a medium golden brown on me. It was definitely not as dark or cool toned as pictured. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't what I was going for. I will not repurchase this color.

Not what I hoped for
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love arctic fox and have been a loyal customer for around a decade now, but this was a miss for me personally. I was VERY excited for the enchanted espresso as I love a dark brown and arctic fox is the only brand that doesn’t irritate my scalp psoriasis, but even after over saturating and letting it sit for well over 3 hours it did not seem to deepen my hair as expected, my natural (no dye for about a year and a half) medium brown hair looked maybe a half shade darker and definitely not anywhere close to as deep as advertised especially considering it wasn’t that much of a change (not like blonde to black) if they update the formula I would for sure consider trying again because I’ve loved all 6 other colors I’ve used in rotation through the years. It did still leave my hair soft and smelling good as arctic fox always does I just was hoping for a deeper brown because Transylvania stains green/blue and I definitely prefer the warmer fade.

Sad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my daughter because she wanted to take a break from bright colors and get back to her natural hair color for a while. Her hair was very faded so the base color shouldn’t have been an issue. We followed the instructions but the brown didn’t take well at all and was almost completely gone in 2 days. The only reason I even gave it 2 stars is because at least it didn’t stain her skin and her hair was soft afterwards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not even as dark brown as pictured, i was extremely disappointed with this. A melted milk chocolate colour which barely took.

Beautiful natural brown. I should have bought two cubes because I have lots of hair, but I love the color. It won't come out as dark as the picture shows so it's not the most accurate representation. I put it in level 6 and level 9 hair. I knew that the level 9 parts of my hair wouldn't take the color without a reddish base, but I'll fix those pieces later. I would not recommend putting this on anything lighter than level 7 hair. I did add conditioner to stretch out the product so my results come out a little lighter.

Very Bad Dye
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not brown dye; it is a mix of blonde, blue and red. It dyes extremely patchy, does not cover grey, is extremely over-priced and I will not buy it again.
