ARM & HAMMER Super Scoop Cat Litter is a low tracking clumping litter with super absorbent clay and ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda to eliminate odors. Specially designed formula for fragrance sensitive cats and their owners that forms rock solid clumps for easier scooping.
The old formula had larger particles. The new formula, “low tracking”, has a lot smaller particles. It’s also a lot darker — I poured the last of the old kind into the box, and then the new kind... the new stuff seems to have a higher ratio of clay-to-baking soda. Just scooping the litter box creates big clouds of dust. I usually hold my breath.
Since I rescued my two kitties a year ago I've tried several brands/types of litter. I always go back to this one because it is by far the easiest to scoop. Many of the others claim to be scoopable but they all seem to be part litter, part super glue... I've felt like I needed a chisel to loosen the clumps. My only problem with the "SuperScoop" type is I've had trouble always finding it where I shop. Otherwise it's definitely the best I've found.
This is the best low tracking litter I’ve tried! I also love that it is fragrance free because I really don’t like the smell of scented litters. It also hides the smell very well even if I don’t scoop every day.
I've used Arm & Hammer Super Scoop Fragrance Free Clumping Litter for a very long time now and love how it works for me and my cat. I like the fragrance free/unscented better than those with a scent because that is what my cat likes.
I've gone through at least 20 boxes of the 40lb size. About 30% are truly fragrance free, the rest have a reasonably strong fragrance. Maybe they don't have a separate production process for the fragrance free, and it picks up the scent left behind by the fragrance added runs? I don't know, but it's a real shame. The truly fragrance free boxes are great. They need to fix this.
