Easily prepare up to 12 cups of cooke rice in this Aroma multi cooker. Cooks faster than oven or stovetop. Create healthy meals for the whole family with this multi cooker. Digital functions with programmable timer, cooks rice, steam, slow cook, saute and simmer. Dishwasher safe cooking pot.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I bought this cooker for the purpose of cooking rice and thought maybe I could use the other functions some day. But, being that it can’t even cook white rice, don’t bother. You’re better off cooking rice on the stove with a pot. Don’t waste your money on this one.
It was awesome when it worked, and produced the most perfect rice I had ever cooked. Now if I use the regular rice setting I only get rice floating in warm water at the end of the cycle. I used the whole grain setting and the white rice did finally cook. Very disappointed as this truly was a great cooker. Judging by other reviews it seems to be a recurrent problem, so the manufacturer should stop making and selling them.

Bought this item on Feb 1, 2019. Used it a couple times and it worked fine but less than 2.5 months later it no longer works. No errors or anything appear on the display and it appears to work fine. But when you press the button to select your cooking selection and then when it beeps done you open the machine to uncooked rice. Tried multiple times to get it working again and it just does the same failure to cook operation every single time. Very disappointing my old rice cooker by the same brand lasted over 5 years. Should have read all the online reviews before buying as apparently this product being faulty junk is very common. Don't make the mistake I did and buy this.
I purchased this rice maker and it worked less than half the time. I returned and bought the same one. Worked the first time and didn’t work the 2nd time. Will not buy another. I’ll jusy make it in a pot, old school style.
Let me be clear: I despise this thing. It boils over from as little as 1/4 cup of rice. It takes 20 minutes to decide whether it wants to actually cook the rice, before inevitably failing to do so. I've had it "cooking" rice for over an hour and opened it up to find the rice soaking in warm water. The machine clearly tried to heat up, as I put the water in cold, but it never got above bath temperature. On the off occasion it does actually try to cook rice, it will get half way there, then shut off, leaving undercooked rice soaking in water. I have had it actually cook rice, then switch to keep warm, a setting that is the same exact temperature as cook, and burn the rice in the pot. I've never in my life had such trouble cooking rice. I've had pots on the stove be less needy. It's the worst product I've ever bought. I am angry that it was allowed on the market. I just threw it away after less than a month. It's useless. I will never buy a product even tangentially related to this brand ever again.
