[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been impressed with Real Techniques as a brand and was so excited to try this particular set. Real Techniques is truly the leader in high-quality brushes with a reasonable price point for regular people. They're very dense, giving great control when you use them. The shorter black bristles make it sturdy, but the long white bristles give a good application of highlighter made it easy to build up a nice glow without overdoing it.. foundation brush was solid fluffy brushes that gave good precision. It contained several brush types that I had never used before. I fell in love with all of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Superficially they are so cute and I love the colors ! I like how they used different pinks. They work really well and are on par with more expensive brushes! I am no make up expert but I had absolutely no trouble using these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These brushes are amazing. The Expert Edge Foundation Brush RT 217 is my new favorite brush ever. The tapered edged get in beside your nose. This brush is so easy to hold. the other brushes are amazing also. I would definitely repurchase.

It's perfect for on the go with traveling and this set is essentially needed for anyone's makeup kit. It can even be a perfect gift to any makeup lover or makeup artist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brush set is really perfect for anyone. You have all the main brushes you would need for a full face. They're also vegan and well made! I have no issues with the brushes shedding. I like the brushes now than before (I have older brushes from then Real Techniques first came out and the newer ones are much better!). My only qualm is I'm not a big fan brush fan, so this is the only brush that I don't use as often as the others. However, I still recommend the brush set, despite not loving one brush as much (I still use it).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful brushes in a variety of styles. Love the tapered brush that is triangle shaped as it gets the ridges and grooves along the face. The tapered brush works well for applying cream products and the fluffy brush is great for blending powder products like a dream. I have had no problems with shedding since using these brushes and they work well.

I much prefer applying foundation with a sponge so I won't be a good person to judge their foundation brush but I did try it out. But I liked how the rest of the brushes in this set worked. I appreciate the density of the Spotlight Fan brush and it was nice having the Soft Accent brush to apply my cream blush with. Plus, the Lip Smudge brush made applying my lipstick so easy and effortless! I don't typically wear liquid or cream eyeliner so I can't speak to that brush.

The quality is excellent and the brushes are easy to use and help me create a more professional look with my makeup. I think this set is a great starter kit for beginners. Similar with the fan brush - shorter black bristles make it sturdy, but the longer white bristles give a good application of highlighter. Unfortunately, the soft accent brush arrived with a few stray long bristles that had to trimmed. After the haircut though, it and the foundation brush were solid fluffy brushes that gave good precision.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The artist essentials collection is good, but I wouldn’t say it’s a must have collection. The expert edge brush is good if you are one to bake your face, but not needed on a regular basis. I also enjoy the smudge liner brush. I’ve never used the lip smudge brush so I can’t speak to that, and I use a different real technique brush for highlight so the fan brush isn’t useful either. All good quality brushes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the rounded foundation brush to apply my foundation. This brush made buffing the foundation onto my skin easy. The bristles are soft and the rounded edges gets product into hard to reach ares such as the contour of your nose. I also used the fan highlighter brush to apply powder highlighter. You do not need to press hard to pick up product. Just a tap and the fan brush pick up enough highlighter for your skin. Again, soft bristles effortlessly applies shimmer where you put it. Lastly, I tried the lip smudger. I am not sure how to use this so I may need to try again. Great value with five brushes. Overall, this set is great as an essential needs set. I am impressed with this set!

Especially the soft accent brush, it makes an amazing concealer brush as the angle really helps blend around the creases of the eye. The fan brush apllies highlighter beautifully. The foundation brush is a great shape to blend in the small corners of the face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a stippling brush from real techniques now I have branched out & tried the other brushes & I absolutely love them , I never tried them , the foundation brush works with many foundations & all , I usually use just a sponge but some foundations look better with a brush too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these brushes for my everyday face and they worked well. I didn’t use the brushes exactly for what was indicated for example I used the smudge brush to highlight my brow bone. I loved how well they blended. Would definitely recommend them.

The set conveniently brush a brush for foundation, contour, blush, highlight, eyeliner and of course that lip brush I'm gushing about!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is great for a person that is just starting out in makeup. The only brush that I don't use is the fan brush. I don't even use this type of brush in a high end brand. The other 4 brushes are great quality and face brushes are dense enough to use for liquid foundation or cream products. They blend out product wonderfully. I would recommend this set!

The expert edge brush 217 gets around the nose and eye area so well with foundation application. Having a smaller accent brush 421 for contour and blush was a real need for me. The (new to me) lip smudge brush is a fantastic addition!
