If you're looking for a close shave this razor can give it to you but, not without some problems. The biggest problem that I've had with this razor is hair getting trapped inside it. The hair just builds up very quickly inside the razor. Simply rinsing it under the tap is not near enough to dislodge...see moreof the reviewer's review

This is a great quality razor. A major plus that it comes with its own stand. Most high end single blade razors the stand is a separate purchase. My husband is happy with the shave and the complete set.

Close shave!

Just like Rick says the razor gives a super close shave with a classic style tried-and-true razor. Like the directions say it takes a little getting used to but it absolutely gives the closest shave at a much lower cost than the newer style razors. I would highly recommend.see moreof the reviewer's review

Good weight, the head stays closed tight, which is a problem I've had with some cheap razors. The blades, though, are horrible. Chinese Dorco blades that I can literally feel rippin...see moreof the reviewer's review

My advice is to get a better blade than the ones it came with. I had good luck with Whilkinsons. I takes a little getting used to. A lot of people are saying that they're having issues with mechanisms. I've never dropped mine, and had it for two years without issues. Saving tips: Wet the blade an...see moreof the reviewer's review

The handle seems adequate but the blades are awful. I haven't had a shave that irritating since Gillette Blue Blades in the '60s. After thee shaves I pitched the whole outfit. Save your money!!!
