I used to have the Foreman electric grill, but I replaced it with this one because I love the Gotham Steel pots and pans I got for Christmas. This grill is amazing! Disappointed. Good thing was that it was a good size and light weight. But, the grill was not easy to clean AND, the cooking area had areas that varied in temp. I tried a 1/3 lb hamburger patty and at high temperature, it took approx 35 min to cook --turned out nice, but too long a weight. Returned ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Very disappointed in this product. When we try to grill steaks they cook unevenly. The same is true when trying to fry omelots or hash browns on the griddle. I'll use the alternative methods rather than settle for inferior food.

does not heat evenly as advertised, as much as 10 degree cooler in different places. Also doesn't get hot to properly grill steak. Checked with infrared laser thermometer after trying and hottest spot only 335 degree.
