Sit back and relax, taking time to clear your mind and enjoy the outdoors, with the Asti Adirondack Club Chair & Ottoman Set from Project 62™. The back of the Adirondack chair leans back and is covered in thick padding, along with the seat and ottoman. Add a small accent table to hold your drink or snacks and sit back and revel in the fresh air in total comfort.
1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born — with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.
Just received them, initial quality is good, the chairs "look" good, are easy to assemble, and they are very comfortable with the ottoman. My concern is regarding durability: the steel is a bit on the thinner side, the cover material is thinner and I’m not sure about sun/moisture/mold resistance, the covers are not removable (no zipper), and I did see areas where the rust resistant coating was removed for screw threading, exposing the chair to potential rust as mentioned in other reviews.
I am keeping them at risk because they look good and are comfortable. I’m hoping Target stands behind this product if durability becomes an issue. I would recommend them with above cautions.
I LOVE this chair! I bought two for my deck. Super easy to put together and SO comfy. I wanted a chair that I could just lounge in while the kids played outside. This is it. I bought the white version (having two kids....I know....potentially a disaster. Hopefully they clean easily).
Assembly was relatively easy, only took about 45 minutes per chair. The chair and ottoman both look very nice, are heavy and feel solid once constructed (which is basically just 8 bolts per chair). The seating is less padded than expected, hopefully will hold up to use and not look used too quickly. Overall good purchase for the money, for outdoor furniture they are pretty cheap. They are very low to the ground, which is very nice for lounging and very comfortable for a conversation set.
this chair is an absolute nightmare to put together. it will require a great deal of patience. the holes for the bolts are poorly spaced and it makes it very difficult to tighten with an allen wrench. good luck. it's a fine chair once you get it together.
Do not these chairs and Ottoman. They are pure junk. After three days they rusted and destroyed and stained my patio. Target customer service is a joke. They told me to disassemble them and put in boxes for return...
