Q: How could I add storage up to 1TB. Right now it's only 64GB.

  • A: I bought it on 11/22/2021. I am able to add a NVMe M.2 SSD with 500G hard drive. There is a slot for such a drive inside. The requirement is NVMe M.2 Once you have the added drive, you can use it as primary boot drive or second drive for storage. The Bios (F2 during boot up) tells you how to select boot drive. So, in this example, with the upgrade, the laptop has 500G and 64G storage. After all, the NVMe M2. drive is the only expansion option for this laptop. You can't add more memory.

The computer didn’t work at all.It was glitching literally every five minutes it was so annoying so I tried to return it I got the SECOND laptop and that one was glitching to and it took so long just to freakin charge.so annoying don’t buy unless you want to waste your money on this type of crap

Was really holding out hope for this laptop but boy is it slow. Random resets, loading times just to turn on take ages. I usually love Asus products but this one stumbles for sure. Saddened I wasted so much money on this. Gonna use it til it's worth but definitely eagerly waiting to upgrade to a better, new, different laptop

Dont buy unless you want to risk your money

I have bought 2 of these things and the experience is dissapointing and infuriating. Also if dont buy if you want to play games or just do anything in general, the cpu goes over 60% just watching youtube. The first one i bought stopped working within a week of buying. I was downloading a game on steam then it froze, i turned of and back on and when i signned in it went to a black screen. i could still move the mouse but the screen was black. I couldnt find any support either. The second one is still working, (i am writing this review with it) but did the same thing as the other one when i tried to install discord but it somehow fixed itself. I can barely even run roblox and when im writing this review the cpu and memory usage are at 50% cpu usage and 80% memory usage. Dont waste your money on this piece of junk. asus has good parts but not good affordable computors.

Bought for Christmas gift for 8 yr old. Right off it didn’t have enough storage for her to play a video game she wanted to download. It lasted 8 months. Screen just suddenly went blank, will not change, it’s charged, keyboard lights up, screen black. I will do a better research next time, won’t by this Asus brand again.

I purchased this laptop in March 2022 and it is mid July 2022 and the mouse on the laptop stopped working. Not able to exchange since I’m past my return window. Very disappointed.

I bought this laptop 4 or 5 months ago. I use it for collage, work and entertainment. I even got the windows 11 update. I have even been able to hook up my PC monitor and use dual monitors to take open book tests. I couldn’t be happier with this product.

Does not meet requirements for Windows 11

The specs are mediocre at best with a 2-core processor, 4gb of RAM, and 57 gigs of storage space. Due to storage not meeting the required 64 gigs, this is not able to run Windows 11.

Garbage experience

I have never written a review before but am writing one now in the hopes that customer service and other purchasers see this. I brought this computer thinking it wouold be a good purchase but as soon as i turned it on it gave me problems. The Windows setup took multiple times to do as it would freeze during it and i would have to force turn it off and restart it. Then when I finally was able to start using the Asus laptop it was so incredibly slow. But all this I could have forgiven as i thought i got a deal on the laptop. The worst thing about it was the screen started to glitch and turn on and off rapidly and then freeze on a broken screen. This is a brand new laptop I had just opened and it was acting like this. I went back thinking i got a bad one and exchanged it for another. The second one i got did go through windows setup in one go (still awfully slow) and the screen didnt glitch so I came to the conclusion i had just gotten a lemon the first time. But a few weeks later the screen started to do the same thing as the first one! I decided i had enough and decided to return it but the return period was over! I explained the situation to multiple store reps and called both target and Asus. Basically target said sorry contact Asus and Asus said they wouldnt replace it but help me through the process of "fixing" it, like I broke it! The dang thing sat on my desk the whole time, never even took it outside or came even close to dropping it. But both of them had the same glitchy screen issue. Absolutely do not purchase this laptop. If customer service contacts me and decides to actually do something fair about this I will update this review. But more than not at the rate everything happened I figure im stuck with this horrible investment.

Won't Charge, Insufficient RAM

Had this computer for 5 months and the battery just suddenly stopped charging. Not to mention as everyone else has said, not enough RAM to do more than one thing at a time. It's also annoying to not be able to customize the settings as much as I'm used to.
