ASUS VG248QG 24 Inch Gaming Monitor, Full HD, 0.5ms, overclockable 165Hz (above 144Hz), G-SYNC Compatible, Adaptive-Sync

I purchased this monitor when I replaced my computer because my old monitor did not have a display port input. I had been using an adapter from DVI to display port and my video was glitching intermittently. Since I purchased this monitor and started using a display port cable, I haven't had a single audio glitch. The picture is amazing such that text is much clearer, making it much easier for my old eyes to see. This monitor is absolute overkill for what I'm using my work computer for, but it's nice to know that I can expand my uses to include gaming and graphic arts programming if I want to and that my monitor will keep pace with my computer.

I bought this online because it implied it was versatile and adjustable. I disagree. the color set is buried somewhere. I get eye strain using this monitor. The sound bar profile can't be accessed to adjust the quality of sound./ The Mount/Stand is very user friendly. The monitor did not come with a HDMI or Display port cable.The supplied instructions gave spec's but only a overview of operations

It turns off for a few seconds while gaming often. I have to send it in for repair. Really annoying.

Excellent settings options, Clear vibrant Color and 144 refresh rate runs smoothly with my Radeon GPU. A great value for the money. The ability to rotate, raise, lower, spin, and reorient to vertical / portrait is amazing. Excellent for gaming.

165Hz is a nice refresh rate, I don't think anything higher than that is necessary. This is a good upgrade from the vg248qe, however, my only complaint is that the blacks are not as black anymore even after calibration, but the image is definitely clearer and that's what's more important to me,. Overall a great gaming Diaplay!

The VG248QG 1080P display works very well. No issues with it. Use it primarily for gaming. I have Windows 10 refresh rate set at 144.001 Hz.

I've only been using the ASUS VG248QG monitor for 2 weeks, so I don't have a long term perspective. It is fully functional both visually and physically to orient the screen. The natural colors are great, those altered by the blue light filter that I activated at degree 1 are of course more bland, a little grayish yellow I would say, but with a real immediate and lasting soothing effect on the eye. As I work long hours on zoom, on word, excel and on the web, I observe a clear absence of eye strain after my day. It's less pretty but it works. I doubted it before the purchase because I go from a 19in square screen to a 24in rectangle, a huge change. No doubt that the larger format of the windows and characters to better occupy this larger space also contributes to the reduction of my eye fatigue over long hours. I find the rear swivel button on the side to change the settings of the screen very easy and quick to use. Thus, to admire photos, it is easy to return to true color landscape mode and then put the filter back in 2 seconds. I am therefore very satisfied with my product. I haven't tried the games yet, besides my low performance graphics card only allows me to go up to 120Hz. I look forward to when I switch PCs with a better card to better try out games then, and I have full confidence that it will be amazing.

Had this thing for about three months and all I can say using this at 120hz or even the 165hz is a night and day difference. Crisp clear picture and good color. Lots of features that are easy to access just by using the joy stick on the right side of the monitor. Base is nice and solid. Allows the monitor to rotate side to side and up and down without the whole thing moving.

The adjustable stand sold it! I was limited as to space for a monitor and nothing else seemed to fit. The ability to raise and lower the monitor fit my needs perfectly. This was the largest monitor I could fit and it has nice quality. Couldn't ask for anything more.
