Aunt Jackie's Curl La La Defining Curl Custard - 15oz

The results on my hair (pattern varies from type 2a-2c) weren’t anything to write home about, but the SMELL is what did me in. It’s this really intense, petroleum kind of odor beneath the sweet/citrusy perfume. It got on my pillow and then spread through the washing onto all my sheets when I washed them. Never again.

I love some of the other Aunt Jackie's products but this curl custard was not great for me. While some of the issues I think are that it's just too heavy for my hair, the bigger issue is that wearing it over a day made my hair knot much more easily. I have used a couple of other gels that wear really well and the next day you can refresh them. I really struggled to refresh with this in my hair and it bascially made me have to do a re-wash earlier than I needed to. It might be a better fit for other people's hair overall but I think the refreshability is kind of universal.

What I didn’t like about this product was it was flake so much. And I would try different products and they didn’t work. Plus it’s not motorizing enough to use on its own

Personally this cream & the gel from this brand are wonderful for my hair & my wallet. it’s affordable, wonderful texture& smell. ive bought the minis twice now & finally bought the full size. idk what the other reviews are about but my hair LOVES this product <333

I loved using this product on my daughter’s curly locks until our hair stylist asked me to please stop using it. I didn’t realize that this junk causes major build-up! Each strand of hair was coated with so much residue. We had to do a hair stripping treatment at the salon because it was so bad! It took three more home treatments to clean her hair. I will NEVER use this product again.

It kinda smells like scented poop and it leaves hair all flaky.

It’s smells great but that’s about it. Left my hair frizzy and did not define my curls. I was trying to save some money but I’ll be goin back to my usual products.

Hair was brittle after use

I love the smell! This stuff defines my curls and holds most of the day! My only complaint is that it doesn’t last all day and if you put too much my hair begins to feel heavy so figuring out how much is needed is key.

This curl custard has been the only thing that works for my frizzy 3a hair and I’ve even tried lots of luxury products. I always get compliments that I smell really good after I put this on. Love the price too.

Amazing product and it smells great. I have thin hair so it gets tangled very easy making hard to brush. I like to apply this product after showering and it brushing a breeze!!!! Highly recommended. Keeps my hair soft too

I buy this for my daughter and it’s great for her curls. The last year the product has been coming off the store shelves horribly made. Get it together.

not defining at all or very hydrating. if you’d like a little more hydration, try a different cream. this also doesn’t mix with their gel which I found weird.

Conditions your hair very well and curls it. Love it for my wash And Gos.

This is super moisturizing for my hair. I think the scent is a bit too strong for me though

I love this cream it makes my hair feel good and soft and it smells great. I have coarse, mixed hair and it’s hard to find a product that doesn’t dry my hair out. I definitely recommend this cream!

I love this product. A girl at my OB has beautiful curls and told me she uses this and I had to try it!! I have fine natural hair and this product works well on twists outs! Just DO NOT use this with gel. I tried Eco, TGIN gel, Uncle Funky and all gels causes flakes. To be honest you do not need gel with this product. I just seal my ends with a light oil and I'm good. My only complaint is my roots tend to still be a little frizzy even with this product so I add a mousse to my roots to slick everything down good. I have frizzy roots though in general but as a product junky I'm glad I found a product that actually defines my curls and adds shine without weighing my hair down

I wasted money cant use this product because it Leaves white flakes
