Maybe I didn’t read the description carefully, but this is a sisal rug. Scratchy under foot. Good for an entry way, but not a bedroom as I’d hoped. But it’s well made and looks lovely, but unfortunately I will return.

Very high quality runner. Beautiful to look at and very sturdy.
It has a rubberized backing to protect floors/carpets from spilled liquids.
It also has a nice, cushion-y feel when you walk on it. But the woven fibers may be a little rough on bare feet.
Got it on sale for an excellent price and could really not be happier.
