This reformulated face wash from AVEENO is an improvement. It only takes one pump of product to wash one’s face of dirt, grime and makeup. The fragrance is light and does not cloy to the skin. This wash is best for those individuals with Normal to Oily/Combination skin.

I have used this cleanser for many, many years, but recently they changed packaging and formula . The previous cleanser was excelent, this one is not. I am returnig product. Why does Aveeno choose to change something that worked for 20 or mor years, I don't get it.

I use to use the Brightening cleanser for sensitive skin but Aveeno has discontinued it. It says this cleanser is for ALL skin types… uh, NO! My skin is extremely sensitive and this product burns my skin! Horrible! Plus, Aveeno needs to STOP testing its products on animals!

It smells really nice, it has a light sweet scent that is not overpowering or strong. The texture is lightweight and cleanses dirt and makeup off really well. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and clean without feeling tight and dehydrated. I feel it has worked well with my exfoliant to brighten my skin.

I have used Positively Radiant Brightening cleanser for years. I loved the silky feel of it and was great on my sensitive skin. This new version does not feel the same at all. It is sticky feeling and more like liquid hand soap than the previous version. Bummed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Where this product leaves my skin feeling smooth, it is not my favorite variety. I prefer more of a foam cleanser with a more rich lather. The worst thing of all though, was I could not get the pump to open, meaning I have to unscrew the lid every time I use it. This has not been convenient, and I usually end up with a lot more than I need. This product has been okay so far, but is far from great.
