A: The current version as of this writing has sulfates. The previous version (that I guess got discontinued about 6 months ago) did not have sulfates as an ingredient.

I have been a dedicated Aveeno skin relief customer until I got the new scent. I can barely use it the chemical smell is so bad. I can’t imagine why they would change such an awesome product.

I love these refill packets. They do not have a scent and it’s a great value for your money because you save on repurchasing a bottle of body wash. It’s ingredients are effective and yet gentle on your skin leaves your skin smooth.

New formula is not it
Baught a refill after running out and right away noticed the product is thinner and clearer. Then this unscented soap, that admittedly used to have a slight smell of bread dough, smells more fragrant then most shampoos. I’ve also noticed my itchy skin is back after using the new and not improved formula. Can no longer recommend and will be on the hunt again.

Aveeno has changed their formula...
I have very sensitive skin and Aveeno fragrance free body wash and one other brand (formulated for babies) is the only body wash I am able to use. I've used Aveeno for as long as I can remember. They recently changed the formula and it now has an odd chemical-like smell - this is supposed to be fragrance free. With the first use, I developed a yeast infection, and l now have go to another brand. Why change a formula when you have a tried and true product?

The ‘New Formula’ is TERRIBLE
I loved this product so much. I’ve recommended it a lot to my friends and family. I swore by this body wash and have bought it for years. It all changed when they came out with the ‘New Formula’. I tied to like it. But from the first time I used it it was terrible. I gave it some time to see if I liked it but it’s terrible. It’s supposed to be scent less but it smells like cleaning products. It is so foul. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this new formula. I’m extremely upset that my favorite body wash is gone. So unfortunate. I’m on the look for a different brand. Hopefully I find something as good as the original.

Formula Change Beware
I have used this product for year, but recently purchases online not knowing Aveeno reformulated the producct. It is awful. The scent was terrible and my skin was immediately irritated by it. Please change it back. Anyone on here find something to replace it?

Definitely Smells "Perfumey"
Just bought this the other day not noticing the "New Formula" stamp on the front....I was instantly hit with some sort of fragrance that definitely lingers on my skin way after my shower. I was happy to find a body wash that totally worked for my skin and unfortunately I think I'm going to have to find something else to use now. Bummer. Bring back old formula, please.

I'm not sure why this product has so many great reviews. The lather is thin and doesn't last, and my skin wasn't particularly soft or moisturized after my shower. Smells horrid. Pump dispenses only a tiny amount of product. If you want a really great, moisturizing body wash with tons of plush lather, try Dove Beauty Body Love Eczema-Prone Skin Care Fragrance-Free Body Wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refill pouch was quite heavy so if you are older or have dexterity issues you might have a hard time using it. It is best if two people refill a bottle together. One person to hold the bottle and one person to pour the pouch works best. I didn't have an Aveeno bottle to refill so I used an old soap bottle. The texture of the soap is creamy. It tends towards the thicker side so you don't have to worry about a runny mess. It produced some lather but not a large amount. When I dried off, my skin felt a little sticky instead of soft and smooth. I didn't experience any dryness or irritation. However, I would still go back to my shea butter bar soap. The large amount is nice, especially if you have several people in your household using it. I like the sustainability aspect of the pouch also.

Good to have around
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was mostly happy with the Aveeno refill. It’s nice to not have to constantly buy and throw out plastic bottles and this way too none of the product gets wasted. It was a little hard to refill the bottle at first as it’s a two handed job and I was trying to keep the bottle from falling over too, but otherwise it’s a great product!

Leaves my skin so smooth

It didn’t take away all the dry skin but still made my skin feel smooth. I love the fresh clean scent that it has. I don’t really have any complaints about this body wash.

Clean & Moisturized

It lathered well, rinsed cleanly, and left my skin moisturized without the need for lotion. I would prefer a scented version, and it would be good if the opening instructions were bigger or more obvious on the label.

Would not purchase.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I felt like this product did not help my skin at all. It leaves it feeling dry!! The smell is not as bad as I thought it would be. It’s soft at first but afterwards it left my skin feeling very dry. Would not recommend this product to others.
