I used to use this type of label for my filing needs, but found the labels with the color strip on the side instead of the top are much more suited to my color coding needs. these are a nice item. but they say they are permanent but they do come off over time. so if are using these for archival storage you will see they just fall off after a few years. other than thatthey work well.see moreof the reviewer's review

They are kind of blinding right side up, but are very convenient for color coding when printed upside down. I like the grey background that doesn't allow any previous labels to show through- thus you can recycle your folders.see moreof the reviewer's review
