Handles get insanely hot. The lid doesn’t fit

This stockpot is huge! It's awesome for my family because I do a lot of cooking for my family of 6. I love the color and how tough it holds up to use. (Be sure to read the use and care sheet that comes with it). The only downside is that it is not dishwasher safe. But being so large, it would take up most of the room anyways! I received this pot a few weeks ago and I have been able to use it a few times. I have never owned a pot this nice with the non-stick feature so I read the instructions. The instructions were very helpful and clear. I was able to learn how to use it and clean it properly. This pot is huge and is perfect for a big family or for making a dish for an event/party. I made chicken noodle soup and I was able to do it using only this pot. It made cook time faster and clean up easier. The soup did not stick to the bottom like it other pans and the lid was helpful for when I needed it to simmer. If I needed to take the soup somewhere, the handles and lid made it convenient to transport. The pan is heavy but was very easy to clean because everything wiped out with no issues. I can tell by the quality of both the pot and lid that it will last a long time. It will be a staple tool for my kitchen because I can make a variety of meals using it. I loved this pan! I made pasta and loved how evenly and quickly the pasta cooked. Also loved how quick of a cleanup this was after cooking. One thing I noticed about the pan was that the lid did to fit securely. Not sure if it’s part of the design to allow steam to escape but i wish the lid fit securely on the pan. The good thing is that the gap isn’t large enough to prohibit be from using this pan and cooking delicious meals. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
