There is a rubber sole under the soft bottom! Our 18 month old had been wearing these shoes just a couple days when the bottoms started looking very torn up, and we were perplexed. We kept peeking and it turns out there is a rubber sole under the soft bottom. This would have been very helpful to know from the start. Reviewing because I see others just thought shoes were defective.
These are great!! My son is 14 months old and just starting to walk on his own. These allow him to keep his feet protected, but also to learn how to walk in shoes because they are super flexible. For $20, you really can't find a better pair of shoes for the littles!
Let me start by saying that I really like how these fit my little one’s chunky feet. These are the first shoes he walked in and he didn’t have troubles at all. I like how the soles are extremely soft. But after 1 hour of wearing them outside in grass, some of the white faux sole has already started peeling off and they look like he’s had them for months. This is really disappointing because I like everything else about them, but I don’t think they’re worth $20.
