Q: I have the co sleeper bassinet for my newborn(9 days old). He hates laying completely flat so sleeping through the night is a chore. Will this work safely with the bassinet or is it only for a crib?

A: Hi there! This wedge likely will not even fit into a bassinet as is is truly intended for a crib. When you say you have the cosleeper bassinet, do you mean our Beside Me Dreamer bassinet and bedside sleeper? If this is the case, you will notice that the height can be adjusted using the knobs on either leg of the product. For a slight incline, you could set one side to be at one height setting higher than the other (just one).

I never would’ve thought to adjust the legs to achieve what we needed. Thank you for responding. The recommended accommodations by the AAP have felt like handcuffs and I was thinking that maybe I wasn’t happy with this bassinet and this small adjustment has helped tremendously.

A: Hi Sarah! Crib wedge product dimensions are as follows: 27″ (length) x 14″ (width) x 3″ (height at peak). You would need to check your bassinets dimensions to see if this would fit, but most customers have no issues using it with standard bassinets and/or cribs.

This is exactly what I needed for my little one! It helps keep her at an angle, to ease her congestion while sleeping at night. A note to parents, if your child rolls a lot, they will likely end up turning sideways, like mine. This is the only reason I am giving this product four stars, instead of five.

This crib wedge is really nice. My daughter spits up a lot and gets pretty congested. I think the crib wedge helps. Definitely doesn’t take her spit up and congestion away, but it gives me piece of mind.

Easy to use, fold open and slide under crib mattress at either end. Props crib mattress up quite a bit more than I was expecting! Definitely worth it, and very nice to have when baby gets a cold or for acid reflux.

This is an excellent product! There is absolutely NO chemical odor, as was the case with a different brand. It is of very high quality. It fits my Graco Pack and Play perfectly. I purchased it to help with my grandson's reflux. As a bonus, he's enjoying the elevated view it gives him!

My little one is a roller. I got this to keep her elevated as a health professional told me is best. But she ends up sleeping at foot of crib vertically. It may not always be helping. But easy to install!

This is a good wedge for propping up my 3 month old’s mattress when he was super congested. The only thing is that it’s pretty wide, so it will fit in his crib perfectly but is too big for his bassinet that he currently sleeps in.

Our little one spit up quite a bit. He would often wake himself up due to spitting up which disrupted sleep for all of us. I was drawn to this item over others given the direction to place under the mattress versus under the sheet. The lift it gives the mattress is subtle but does seem to help. Our baby still spits up, but it does seem much less frequent. More importantly, when he does spit up, it appears to be less disruptive to his sleep. I would recommend giving this a try especially for the price.
