Very cute, but size 6-12 months do not have grippers :( My daughter was pulling herself up/around from age 6 months, so I was hoping to get socks with grippers as the description of this item indicates, but the smallest size must not have them. She still wears them at thirteen months - she wears size 3 Stride Rite shoe, so she has small feet for her age. They are good quality fabric and stretch, I just wish they had grippers on the bottom.
The three white pairs are fine, but the three grey pairs are made of two separate layers that don't stay aligned, creating wrinkles and lumps when I try to put them on my toddler. I have to twist, pull, rearrange, and fiddle with them to get them on her and even then they don't seem right. I try to get them all straightened out when I pull them out of the dryer, but it doesn't really work. I don't have the time or patience to fuss with it every time. The white ones are simple and much easier to get on, and to put on shoes over.
I was disappointed with these socks. I washed them right after buying them and the lining of one of the socks seemingly shredded itself in the washer, so when I went to put it on our little one, it was all wadded up inside and basically rendered that pair unusable. I’m guessing they won’t hold up as well as some other Cat and Jack ones we’ve had for a while.
