Cute Bed - Terrible to assemble

3 out of 5 stars

My husband nearly had an aneurysm putting this together he was so frustrated. Even together, with my help it took more than an hour to put together. The fifty pound weight limit will also limit the time we will be able to use this bed, but I like that we didn't need to purchase a new mattress and it...see moreof the reviewer's review

It's a little tricky putting together and the instructions aren't perfect (images are a little off). However, you can figure it out and its totally worth the price!see moreof the reviewer's review

Love how this bed looks and is the perfect transition from a crib! I struggled a little bit with the slats part of assembly but assembled myself within about an hour. Have only had the bed for about a week so can't comment on quality as it relates to longevity, but I love it so far!see moreof the reviewer's review

Good bed but needs better assembly option

The bed came quickly, was a good value and looks great. I gave it a 3 due to the assembly. Getting the slats in was so frustrating and took forever. The other thing I would have preferred was to have stronger slats since they are quite flimsy.

The bed is good quality, solid wood pieces. Assembly was a real pain, requiring no less than 4 hands. It was putting together the slatted bottom that was the hardest part. But once together, it’s solid and looks really nice.

Oh man. I should have taken the advice from others. This IS a cute bed, but step 3 may take you a bottle of wood glue and a bottle of wine (and three hours) to get past. Use clamps. Do not pretend that you can put together the spaghetti bottom without full patience... and do not do it 9 months pregg...see moreof the reviewer's review
