I really wanted this to work well. While our son responded to us "Shushing" for some reason he just really didn't respond to this one. It may just seem too artificial. I can certainly see this working for some people. Just not for us.

I was introduced to the baby shusher by my newborn photographer and had to grab one for my own baby. They are a nice tool to have in your “please stop crying” toolbox. Probably not for every kid, but this little device is handy and worth a shot. Easy to use, compact and sometimes game changing.

Pros: It’s effective, portable, and the noise level dimmer works great. Cons: It doesn’t have a flat surface to stand up/lay it down. If you stand it up as the product picture shows, it muffles the sound too much. It rolls over but eventually stops when you lay it on its side. The timer dial clicks and it’s pretty loud! I wish there were various shushing rhythms, like some short shushing instead of only a repeated long one.

I gave this to my friend for her baby and she loves it. Its portable so you can take it anywhere and it engages the baby's natural calming reflux. This baby shusher obviously has a human shush sound, I know they have a newer version but in regards to this version, I think this is great pick if you are traveling and won't have access to a charging port for a while. This one, you can change the batteries as soon as they run out of power. In addition, you'll need a screwdriver to replace the batteries which is great as I don't want them to be easily accessible by my kid if he happens to wake up before I do and plays quietly in his room. I like the minimal time so kids don't grow accustomed to or reliant on it.

I honestly thought this was a hilarious purchase that wouldn't help anything. But it's been a huge game changer in the car seat! My 8 month old has gone from screaming every trip, to peaceful and often sleeping or just relaxed.

At first when i received my baby shusher i was a bit skeptical if it was gonna work for my baby. To my surprise it actually works. When she is fussy i turn it on and she quiets down. I love yhat tou can control the volume. It also shuts off on its own after a while. If you are a parent with a fussy baby i definitely recommend this device for you.

A great susher! This has been a life saver, especially when we sleep over at family and friends homes - typically a louder environment with folks staying up later to enjoy each others company. The susher is very durable - I know because my older daughter has launched it across the room and it still works wonderfully. My baby responds well to this and knocks out relatively quickly when it is sleepy time. I will admit I was really skeptical about this product. My husband and I were laughing when we first turned it on because the shushing noise just seemed like something that would never work. This thing is a game changer! It’s been so amazing for naps and bedtime, especially in unfamiliar places! It’s so easy and portable which I love becuase we can use it in her room, in the car, in the stroller, wherever we happen to be. There is something so soothing about the sound, but it’s just a sound I could not make over and over again like this little machine! I like that it has a cord to hang it places, but it’s the perfect length where it isn’t a hazard. I recommend this to all new parents who need a little extra soothing in their lives!

Amazing product for babies and toddlers who are able to be “shushed” to sleep! My baby does not like her car seat so when she finally does fall asleep she is easily startled. We have to make the “shushing” sound quick and for a few minutes to keep her asleep. This product does it all for you and it sounds perfectly realistic! Compact size is perfect for on the go!

I was a bit skeptical of the effectiveness of the Baby Shusher, but I have been desperate with my daughter, so I gave this a try. It actually works to calm her down and go to sleep much sooner than she had been. This is portable, so it can be used in different rooms of the house or while traveling. It has timers for 15 and 30 minutes, but I wish it could be activated by an app-then I would say it is perfect.

Babies love to be shushed (seriously) and this gadget is so helpful when baby is in the car seat or stroller and I can’t close by to do it myself. Unfortunately this machine only has one setting, a man’s voice doing a consistent four second shush on repeat. I wish it also had another shorter shush for when baby is upset. The instructions come with an FAQ page that is helpful in knowing how to use the shusher. Best for ages newborn to four months.

This little machine works just fine, been using for the last week and it has helped me prolonging the sleep time of my grandson whatsoever I with the speaker was located some how on the side of the machine instead is in the bottom part of it, so if you want to place it standing you need to turn the volume all the way up but other than that it really help with your baby chores
