The Baby Trend Premiere Plus Convertible Car Seat perfectly pairs patented safety features with comfort and convenience. It utilizes Real Sizing to properly fit the height & weight of your growing child. The 4-position no re-thread harness system keeps harness adjustments hassle-free. The seat features a 5-point safety harness with padded harness covers and the removable contoured headrest allows your child to stay rear-facing longer and is ideal for smaller vehicles. The EZ Off-N-Wash removable seat pad snaps off for cleaning. Use Rear Facing (with head support) from 5 - 40lbs and Forward Facing from 23 - 65lbs.
The install for this car seat is ridiculous. Once I got it in the vehicle (2016 Explorer) and latched in, it was impossible to tighten to "less than one inch of movement." Will be returning. I gave it 2 stars bc the padding options are nice and seem comfortable for baby.
I love Baby Trend. When I was registering for my shower I got lots of their products. Which I still use and love. So, when it was time to upgrade. I thought this was a no brainer. “This cute baby trend convertible is perfect!” Wrong! This is a terrible product. It’s extremely difficult to install. I don’t believe you should have to use towels or blankets in a basic vehicle, just to get the seat level. The buckle has no give between the legs and is directly in the seat, so it pinches their thighs. I returned and bought a Graco, because I honestly don’t even know why this car seat is for sale. Hope baby trend makes a better product next time.
I bought this for my 12 month old who outgrew her first car seat. We find the red button to be too hard to push, you need to use both hands so you can use one thumb to push on your other strong hard enough to make it release. Also, the straps/harness isnt easy to adjust, its pretty snug in her normal clothes, with a jacket...forget it, way too tight and no way to loosen it up.
