Q: Hi, I just bought the Babyletto Harlow 3-in-1 convertible crib. What is the difference between the babyletto pure core non-toxic crib mattress with "Hybrid" waterproof cover and "Dry" waterproof cover?

A: The Dry cover is 100% waterproof and easy to wipe down, with a backing made of plastic (food-grade polyethylene), so it is completely impervious to water going through it. The surface of this cover is 100% Polyester. While for the Hybrid cover, the inner layer is the same as the Dry cover, but has the organic cotton outer layer. That way, the mattress is completely protected from liquids, and the closest surface to baby is still 100% Organic Cotton.

Q: Is this the same mattress that is on the babyletto site? The mattress on the babyletto site says it is green guard certified, however your site says it is not. Also it says both Made in the USA and Made in Taiwan on your site?

My child is now 1 and a half, he's been sleeping on this since birth for the most part and it's held up very well. It's still as firm as the first day, the mattress protector it came with has saved us quite a few times, stains never making it to the mattress! Is it pricey? Yes but for the quality of the product, it's worth it! Almost 2 years later, from a crib to a toddler bed and we're still happy with this mattress purchase!

baby has laid in this bed only 3 months, he’s 6months now, first 3 months in a bassinet. this mattress must be defective because it’s already indented. i bought same one for now my 2 year old grandson and still good as new. not right at all. spend 200 on mattress. or baby it should last more than 3 months.

I was very excited for this mattress but feel extremely let down. I love that it comes with the removable/washable mattress cover! But the mattress itself is not good. I have to bend it every night before my son goes to sleep because after less than a year of him sleeping on it it’s caving in in the center and you can feel the springs when you push on it. Until recently I could not afford another mattress for him so have been trying to make it work but he wakes up all night long as if he’s uncomfortable but sleeps perfectly well in his crib at childcare. Unfortunately this mattress will be going in the trash. It was an exciting baby shower gift but a total let down.

This is a great crib mattress. We've been using it for 2+ years now and our child sleeps really well on it. It's easy to distinguish which side is the "infant" side and which is the "toddler" side without having to look at the label. Plus: it's really lightweight and easy to get in and out of the crib for sheet changes! My only reason for taking it down to 4 stars is that the "waterproof" cover that comes with it is not actually waterproof (not to mention that it's a huge pain to take on and off). even drool seeps through and gets on the mattress. Do yourself a favor and grab a couple of other mattress protectors (i like the TL Care Organics personally, truly waterproof, even during potty training!). You'll be glad you saved your mattress from drool or worse, pee!

Chose a Babyletto mattress due to its high quality and safety standards. Fit snugly in a non-Babyletto crib, as it should. The two sides aren’t labeled, but it was easy to tell which was the firm (infant) vs softer (toddler) side. Liked that it came with a waterproof cover—one less thing to buy.

This mattress looked nice in quality but after seeing the description online contained a California warning about two chemicals that could be linked to reproductive harm, birth defects, and/or cancer, I returned it. I think it was a bit deceptive to put the phrase "Non-Toxic" on the name of this mattress. I would rather use a cotton or organic mattress over this one.

I was excited for this mattress because of what it was (not) made with. When I received the mattress and took the sheet/cover off, I noticed that there were indents from my fingers. I waited about 30 minutes and they were still there. If there are finger marks in the mattress from simply taking the cover off, I am sure that a baby laying for hours will make permanent indents. I unfortunately will be returning this.

I did a ton of research on mattresses and the chemicals added and materials used and how they can negatively impact and harm children and I stumbled upon this mattress. Straight out of the box, there were no weird chemical smells and it was ready to use as soon as we opened the box. The mattress protector sounds a little crinkly but once you put in on the mattress, it doesn’t make any sound and feels smooth. I had read some reviews prior to receiving this mattress, stating that it didn’t quite fit in their cribs. We have an IKEA crib and it fits nice and snug, just like I would have expected it too. The only negative is I can’t quite tell which is the toddler side and which is the infant side; they feel the same to me. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

This mattress fit perfectly, but, boy howdy, it is FIRM! Like, solid, firm. Like, Littlest is going to need time to adjust to it, firm. I’m sure it’s good for her though, so I’m just going to ride the wave of her body adjusting to it.

Mattress seems to fit very well in Babyletto crib. Who wouldn't want to buy a vegan non-toxic mattress free of polyurethane foam, "soy" foam, vinyl, PVC, chemical flame retardants, dyes, allergens, phthalates, PFCs, synthetic latex, and off-gassing materials? You and your children sleep basically 1/3 of your life, so this might be an item you would care about those things. Price was also comparable of other traditional mattresses on the market, with added benefits in my eyes. Very happy.
