Have been using this for a couple years cause it's SO easy. Only gave this 4*'s cause you need to almost double the amount of pectin stated in the recipe on the label otherwise your jam will be runny. I still recommend to give this a try. Target has a very good price on this.see moreof the reviewer's review

I have been using this "instant" pectin for years. But the way I use it is different. I do not like to use much sugar with foods. I put fresh strawberries in food processor with a little sugar and instant pectin. It gets thick and can be used for jam or to put on pancakes or waffles. It also fr...see moreof the reviewer's review

I bought this pectin since I was out of bulk pectin. I didn't realize that it wasn't the same stuff as my last jar of Ball brand pectin. The labels are too similar. There was NO indication on the label that this pectin could ONLY be used for freezer no cook jam. There was NO indication on the meager...see moreof the reviewer's review

I tried this brand of the no cook freezer jam pectin last year and it did not work. I had to buy the pectin you had to cook for it to work. I thought I would try it again this year and it still did not work. Target let me only return the pectin jars that were unused. I wasted a whole jar on a batch ...see moreof the reviewer's review

Found cherries for an unreal deal, made freezer jam (well, not jam). Used freezer jam pectin for the first time, instant type. Won't do that again. What a waste. I will go back to SureGel no/low sugar.see moreof the reviewer's review

I have used Ball's 30 min. Freezer Jam Instant Pectin for over 5 years. The jam tastes like fresh fruit and uses less sugar--1 cup to 4 cups of berries...terrific for those of us with issues with sugar. Yes, it's softer than cooked jams but so what--better taste with less sugar is more important. ...see moreof the reviewer's review
