My favorite sunscreen! The only reason I can see others complaining about coverage is because they're spraying it too far away from the skin. I live in Phoenix and use sunscreen almost all year. Spray on, rub in a bit, go play. Simple as that! Plus, the cooling bit is definitely a bonus in hot days.
I made the painful mistake of using this spray sunscreen on the beach. Even after re-applying I got a bad burn including on my face. Spray sunscreen is not serious beach protection. There's several major flaws with sprays....First, there's wind on the beach and it effects the spray ability to reach the skin when re-applying. That's a major problem! Second, when applying to face you have to spray the mist on your hands and rub on the face which is almost impossible to do properly especially in beach conditions. Third, in comparison to lotion which goes on thick, the mist goes on very light and is hard to feel any areas that you may have missed. The solution to these dangerous issues is simple just use lotion sunscreen. Sunscreen spray is a gimmick that fails in beach conditions and caused me alot of pain.
We bought this expecting that it would be easy to apply and provide excellent protection. Instead we all ended up with uneven sunburn: splotchy white patches where the spray was concentrated and wide areas of red, sore, itchy skin everywhere else. We have used other brands of spray-on sunscreen and not had the same problem of poor coverage and poor protection.
