Bar Dog Pinot Grigio - 750ml Bottle

I drank it chilled with a can of gourmet sardines (anyone else watching the new season of Somebody Feed Phil?) and it was delicious. Crisp and clean with notes of pear. Easy drinking. I will definitely be keeping this brand on my shelf from now on. Cannot wait to try the other varieties!

Since I had the opportunity to try red, I decided to try Bar Dog Pinot Noir as part of the Influenster Cashback campaign. I served it with a charcutier plate at a gathering at our lake house. It is light, has rich notes of black cherry with woodsy undertones. The French bulldog face and pawprint on yhe bottle label is a nice touch! It says" We proudly donate to local animal rescues across North America". Over the years, my cousins have adopted Boston abd Frenchie rescues, so I will be sending them a few bottles. Great price to a wine that over-exceeded my expectations!

I tried this wine with dinner last night and I really enjoyed it. It was light and crisp, but with no annoying sweetness. I woke up today with no headache, so I'm officially a fan!

Bar dog is an authentic Pinot Grigio, smooth, dry and not overly sweet, acidity is well balanced and makes it great to be drinked by itself on a summer evening, it will go well with fish or chicken dishes, to which, I would suggest a chicken piccata. The wine has an elegant taste and definitely a fruity aroma, on the palate the first and most prominent notes are pear and guava, and ends with a smooth peach note. This would make a favorite with guests at gatherings this summer.

It has a subtle flavor of peach and pear that gives it a sour/tart taste. The wine is super easy to drink and the corgi on the bottle is super cute!

So after a long day of being stressed out from the kids and home duties, i was like let me get out that bottle of pinot and give it a taste.maybe itll calm my waters. It was chilled and ready to go when i opened it. It was not what my mouth had expecte, and again maybe because i like the more sweet flavors and this just wasnt that. It left a weird aftertaste. I thought maybe if i mixed it with OJ i could get away with masking it. Nope i was incorrect again. To each their own but it just wasnt for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially hesitant to try white wine after becoming a huge red wine fan in the last two years, however, this Pinot Grigio is so sweet and smooth that I had to remind myself it contains alcohol. I enjoyed the flavors that came through, and it honestly is kind of strong. It was great with dinner and just by itself. It’s definitely a “will buy again”for me & I especially enjoyed learning about the company and how they give back to rescue shelters as well as promote pet adoptions!

I was able to sample this complementary in exchange for my honest opinion. It has a very crisp taste. I prefer sweeter wines so I’m not sure if I will buy it again, but it is good.
