Barbie Life in the City Barbie "Brooklyn" Roberts Doll & Accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fun city life Barbie, with all the necessary accessories, even a playbill! Her ethnic hair is amazing and different from any Barbie I've seen so far. Other accessories include jewelry and a pet cat for living in a small city space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This great Barbie doll is part of tre "Life in the city" theme and comes with a half dozen small accessories such a purse, a collar and a lipstick that can be placed on her hand. Theres 3 pieces that are made of paper and the rest are plastic. This doll is one of the basic dolls so the legs and arms do not bend at the elbows or knees. This is a great doll and my faughter had lots of fun playing with it. The accessories are small so must be cautios with smaller children using these. Also one of the negative things for me is all the little tabs that are used to attach the doll to the box. You must be careful removing them or you can possible cause damage to your toy by pulling hard. Other thab that this is an awesome toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute little Barbie playset, with ab interesting variety of accessories. I'm saving it for a special occasion for now as my little one is a bit young to fully appreciate it (and small accessories like these tend to get lost easily).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this Barbie and my 4-year-old was immediately excited to play with her as an addition to our home full of Barbies. The first thing she was excited about is the cat with a little bow tie because I think she possibly loves the Barbie pets more than she loves the dolls themselves. The second thing she was excited about were the little tickets, which are adorable and amazingly detailed but I don't expect them to last long in our house since they are paper products. We both love the doll's hair, and I'm impressed with even the details around the hairline that go well with the braids. The only thing that my daughter was disappointed in is that the purse doesn't open, because it felt like a natural extension to want to take the tickets and program and stick them inside of the purse.

We had another Barbie Life in the City doll as well so they combined this set with the other for even more play. I was able to explain to them about how in a bit city you can go to shows and get all dressed up to do so. All in all super fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old daughter liked this Barbie. She LOVED that it had a cat. She has a lot with dogs, but not any with cats. She also really liked her hair. It's more of a braided texture and different than her other Barbie dolls. She has made it into the regular Barbie doll rotation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute doll and fun accessories. The dress is hard to get off and it would be nice if the purse actually opened to hold the tiny paper tickets and playbill as well as the makeup. The dog was cute and it held my daughters attention nicely.

It is always nice when they add a pet in with the dolls. The packaging was colorful and the Barbie fit right into her dream house.

The quality of some of the accessories is lacking - the paper tickets and program didn’t last much longer than a day or so before they were wrecked. If they had been made of plastic or laminated they would have been much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We loved to have a Brooklyn so we can play Barbie Takes 2 at our house. She had lots of accessories to go with the doll, the kitten and purse especially. Her rainbow outfit was cool. Her hair doesn't look exactly like the Brooklyn in the show.

We would have liked a larger accessory instead of many of the tiny ones. Over, it’s nice that this Barbie came with a few accessories.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie is beautiful. The hair is amazing and the outfit is very girly and glittery. My girls love cats so the cat being included is a bit hit. I really like the two different purses and necklaces that come with it. The pamphlet and two tickets are nice but will get lost and ripped quickly. Also the microphone is very tiny and will get lost quickly too. The bag of gummy bears it comes with it a very nice touch. Wish that the Barbie was posable so it would be able to hold the microphone to her mouth.

I was pleased to see that while the doll is thin, she looks lean and strong rather than the stick thin they used to be. She has beautiful braided hair and lots of accessories, some of which are so small I’m sure they will be quickly lost.

Her outfit is really fun and stylish and all her accessories are so cute and chic. They’ve been playing with her everyday since she came! I’m loving the more diverse options that Barbie offers now. This doll has beautiful long locs, and is great representation for little girls who look like her. My daughters love the doll because she looks like my best friend who is like an aunt to them. They love having dolls that look similar to different people in their lives and aren’t just the regular blonde haired Barbie’s. Thank you so much, Mattel, for evolving with the times.

My daughter loves her outfit and enjoys switching her necklace and purse accessories. The details in the show tickets, program and snack are fantastic and of course the kitty with bow tie is adorable. This Life in the City Barbie was the perfect addition to our collection!

The cat is also a favorite and all the accessories fit in the bag. Great value for sure. The accessories are cute and fun to play with and overall the set seems well made.
