[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little boy was eager to play with his new toy but after playing with it for a few minutes, he turned around and handed it to me and said okay, I’m done with this toy, for some reason it is freaking me out. I said alright and that was that and he hasn’t brought it up again.

I’m happy in the well made condition of this doll, Mattel has, as usual, done well in their play line items. Little Boy is very nicely wearing his obligatory accessory:? A set of “play clothes”, like an after school outfit to wear to the sandbox. Oh and his cute little shoes are provided also! This Barbie friend is reasonably priced, and everything that’s told to the consumer about him was proven and as described once we had him in our hands.

The outfit is a bit out there and would be better as two separate pieces but overall, it is nice. Overall, it makes a great addition to any doll collection.

Packaging does not specify gender or ethnicity but does have an Asian-ish look which adds diversity to our Barbie 'Family'. This colorfully dressed child can pique creativity as it does not fall into either gender norm; in hairstyle looks, clothing color choices, or physical features.

One thing I really did love about it, is the outfit was a one piece outfit. Harder for kids to misplace pieces of clothing. Also it’s easy for young kids to dress and undress their doll from clothing to shoes. Overall I would recommend this doll for any Barbie and friends fan.

My children were thrilled to receive another child doll in a new diverse ethnicity. They were even more excited about the colorful, expressive outfit. While the doll is designed to be male presenting, the romper and hair could pass as a girl child with a pixie cut as well. Great design concept since female presenting dolls always have long hair.

The doll is colorful, well made, and the rainbow shirt design makes it really cheerful and fun. It’s also a great size for little hands, making it easy for kids to carry around and include in imaginative play. I like that the Chelsea line includes a boy doll because it adds more variety to the characters. The only small downside is that it doesn’t come with any accessories, which would have made playtime even more fun. Overall, it’s a cute and durable toy that has quickly become one of my son’s favorites! We highly recommend you add it to your own collection too! Enjoy the adventures!

The doll has a cute design, bright colors, the movement of the arms/legs, and it’s the perfect size for small hands. It’s been fun to see him use his imagination and create little stories during playtime. One thing to note is that the small shoes are easy to lose, and because they are tiny, they may not be the best for a 3-year-old who still tends to put things in their mouth. Aside from that, it’s a fun doll and a nice addition to imaginative play.

The Not-So-Great I noticed this doll has very stiff Limbs . My granddaughter had a very hard time because she wanted him to bend his knees. She did like the fact she could remove his shoes.
