My beehive is missing. Drove 55 minutes to a Target. Arrived home to realize that there is not a beehive with my set. Extremely bummed because I was looking forward to this set the most.

Oh to be a kid again! This National Geographic meets Barbie set is perfect. So many fine details all in one. My animal and nature loving daughter said this is her favorite Barbie set yet.all the insects it comes with, the accessories and interactive toys make for hours of play. She is really able to pretend play and use her imagination. The bet and magnifying glass were the perfect additions. I’m thankful to be able to show her more that Barbie is able to do. I wish the drawer did open on the table. Other than that this set is well worth it and definitely winner. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This has got to be the greatest toy we have gotten so far! Entomologist Barbie can do so much with all of her bugs, like put them on rocks, on pretty flowers, on a tree, a beehive, and more. The darling containers and accessories for her studies are also darling. I especially love the butterfly net and her magnifying glass. The thing that blows my mind is the monarch butterfly cocoon that turns into a butterfly with the flip of a switch! The learning that can be explored here is endless and this surely makes learning fun. I will be buying one for my niece because she loved it as well! 10/10 would recommend!! My daughter loved Entomologist Barbie. She really liked all the bugs that came with in it. She especially likes that she can put the bugs in many places. She spends a lot of time rearranging the bugs and having Barbie study the different types of insects. I like that it encourages kids to respect insects and nature. The butterfly in the tree is fun and easy for my four year old to operate. I appreciate that this is a quiet toy as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Fantastic accessories

We received Barbie Entomologist about a week ago and liked it a lot. My daughter loved all the different pieces and bugs. One of the best parts was she was able to move all of the different pieces around, and not just bees on the hive but they could be moved to flowers or leaves for example. The switch on the tree where you could open and close the butterfly was a nice touch. Another positive was the topic. She loves art and science classes at school so having Barbie focusing on science/academia and not just body image was very pleasing. Some of the negatives (although very minor). She wish there were even more bugs. The box says 3+ however with all the small pieces it might be hard for younger children keep track of all the pieces and not get lost. My 5 year old is a nature lover and is really into bugs right now. I love that this Barbie encourages kids to explore nature and consider a future in science! The little bugs are so cute and both my kids love them, especially the cocoon that turns into a butterfly. The magnifying glass is a favorite around our house as well. I can see this toy getting hours of play time for years to come! Love it! My only complaint is yet another blonde blue eyed Barbie. We have plenty. I wish there was more than just a smattering of diversity reflected in these sets. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This set is absolutely adorable. Very unique with bugs that can attach and detach from the tree. I love watching my girls use their imagination while playing with toys and this set does not disappoint. From catching at bug with the included net, putting it in the case, to studying the bug at the table. One minor complaint is that there are many small pieces that can easily get lost. My girls ages 4 & 5 love this Barbie set! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My 6 yr old loved this from the second he opened it. He loved putting the bugs on the tree and on the scientist table. He even liked playing with he Barbie and asked if he could bring it to school. I would highly recommend this toy for both boys and girls that like playing outdoors and looking at bugs! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
