When I asked him what he liked most, he said, "She has a pretty dress, and I like to make her dance like a ballerina." His favorite accessory is her magic wand. He loves putting it in her hand and pretending she can do magical spells to help her friends or save the day. He quickly started creating his own stories, taking the Nutcracker Doll on adventures with his other toys. Sometimes she is a princess, other times she is the hero of the story, and she always finds a way to make every adventure exciting. Watching him use his imagination has been one of my favorite parts of seeing him play with this doll. The doll is lightweight and easy for little hands to hold, making it simple for him to move her around, pose her, and include her in all kinds of pretend play. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An absolute hit! This doll has already gone to dinner, the pool, the store. Really good doll for a younger child. We’ve kept the wand aside for now but I love that the accessories are minimal (ie dolls core outfit is painted on with just a skirt). With a younger child this set up is perfect! Less things to lose and the perfect easy “on the go” doll.
