I also like the small details like the sunglasses, necklace, and purse. The dog is probably my favorite part of the set. It’s really cute and even has matching sunglasses and a bow, so they are coordinated. The doll is easy to pose which makes it fun to set up little scenes. The hair is soft and easy to brush, and the outfit fits nicely without being difficult to take on and off. Overall it’s a fun set with a lot of personality. The dog accessory and leash add a nice touch and make it feel like a complete play set instead of just a doll.

My Granddaughter played with the dog even by itself. She took off the ice cream cone belt for a more "doggy" look. She loved the matching sunglasses too. I noticed and really liked the cute pink heels with the pom pom on the top. It's a very on trend and adorable touch. My only minor complaint is the extra secure packaging. I know it has to be done the way it is to keep Barbie and the dog looking their best in the box. However I was really glad I got Barbie out of the box before my Granddaughter arrived. My advice is to take her out before the kids see her or be prepared to help them with the task. It was ruff!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie Twinning Looks is perfect for my 3 year old girl who has recently become obsessed with dogs and pets in general. The package includes a Barbie Doll and a Dog, both wearing matching outfits. The details are fantastic and clearly thought out with care, down to Barbie and her dog having matching necklaces and sunglasses, etc. The included Barbie appears to be of high quality, with moving joints at shoulders, knees, elbows, etc., whereas some Barbies seem to lack all of the functioning joints. The construction feels very sturdy and able to withstand the beatings it will surely take from a toddler. The dog, too, is bigger and more substantial than dogs included in other Barbie sets. It even has holes behind the ears to insert the glasses eye pieces, making them easy to put on. Very clear attention to detail. My toddler instantly fell in love with what she calls the "Silly puppy wearing glasses." I believe this might be her favorite Barbie to date, and that is saying a lot.

She did not like how difficult it was to snap certain pieces on, and the sunglasses don't stay on well but she otherwise loves it.
