Purchased for our Hawaii trip. My entire family has burns from the sun. We reapplied several times and look like we never used any SPF at all. Will never use this product again. Horrible product.

I have very dry skin, and truthfully this feels amazing. Very smooth, doesn't cling to dry patches on me, and actually has a slightly primer-like feel on the skin, but it does not feel greasy or tacky or sticky. It's sitting on top of my skincare nicely now, but at first, it pilled really bad, and because of this I'm not sure how well makeup would sit on it. Sunscreens often give me a reaction around my eyes (general eye-stinging like allergies) and this doesn't cause that. I live in Seattle so I'm not exactly getting sunburns on the regular but the reviews others are leaving regarding the lack of protection here are really concerning. Considering the price, you should be able to trust that your SPF is going to actually protect you. One star for not causing a reaction, and two for how nice it feels on the skin. Docking one star for the pilling and dubious effectiveness based on reviews, and another one for its value based on the price they ask.

I like it a lot so far, it spreads well and the ingredients are great, I just wish the tube was a bit larger because I use one up in about 10 days. Some white cast but I work under harsh sun and haven’t burned at all with this, anything and everything that goes on clear leaves me roasted and toasted.

This did not spread evenly, it chunked up and rubbed off like glue if you went over a spot twice. And don’t try to put more on top, it would just stick to itself and clump right off your skin. I was burnt in some really weird patterns and splotches. And what did stay never soaked in, so I was chalky and white and it rubbed off everywhere- my car seats, purse strap, shorts. I’ve used a lot of mineral sunscreen and never had such a terrible experience.

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this product. Ingredient wise its great, but it kept pilling up on my skin. I tried it with different moisturizers but it kept happening. When I tried it alone it wouldn’t spread. If you didn’t rub it in quickly enough, it would start pilling. Even on my body it looks dry. It has a nice clean scent to it and minimal white cast for a mineral sunscreen. I should add that I could layer a tinted sunscreen over it, which has been its saving grace.

My family of seven went to Aruba and loved using Bare Republic’ mineral sunscreen lotion. It does not leave a white film and has excellent coverage. I recommend using the lotion first then finish with Bare Republic’s mineral spray

This is the worst product I have ever used. I reapplied at the beach every 45 minutes and have the absolute worst sunburn I’ve ever had in my life. Bought this because I am pregnant and wanted mineral based and they were out of our usual brand. It pills and I swear it’s like I didn’t have anything on. It should be banned for being marketed as a sunscreen. I am so upset and In so much pain because it simply did not do its job at all.
