Description
All legumes. Al dente. All great taste. BARILLA Chickpea Spaghetti is made with just 1 ingredient: chickpeas! Chickpea pasta is an excellent source of fiber, per serving. Certified Gluten Free and Non-GMO. Taste the difference!
BARILLA Chickpea Spaghetti has a deliciously distinctive chickpea flavor and smooth al dente texture.
Chickpea pasta cooks just like traditional pasta! Simply boil 4-6 quarts of salted water, add the pasta and boil for 7-9 minutes. We love to cook our chickpea pasta for 7 minutes for a true ""Al Dente"" texture, but you can add +1-2 extra minutes for more tender pasta.

Not good, Banza & other chick pea pastas are delicious flavor & texture. I had to boil it longer than 20 min. It was still crunchy & dry, so dense, in a bad way. Remade more, thinking no way was it that bad, it is that bad. Disappointing expected it to taste great & similar quality to other brands of chick pea pasta.

Tastes like a crumbly extra whole wheat pasta. It totally takes away from the flavor of the sauce, and I make a really good sauce, so it was very disappointing. Will never buy again or recommend. I’ll stick with my organic store brand version that actually tastes like regular pasta.

I thought I would try this since the Banza chickpea spaghetti was out. These noodles are darker and the smell and taste of chickpeas was a little stronger (not necessarily a bad thing with taste). The texture was fine but I definitely found Banza to have a excellent texture (one I favor even a little more than normal spaghetti noodles). Again this pasta itself was good it seemed the noodles did get really hard just shortly after making which didn’t happen with the other brand so if you want leftovers I probably wouldn’t use this. Otherwise for a quick, accessible, GF and healthy pasta it still hits the mark.

It tastes like normal pasta. I had to cook it for triple the recommended time because it was still really firm and I like my pasta on the softer side. Other than that it’s really good and is one of the healthiest store bought brands I’ve seen because it’s only one ingredient. I recommend it, just taste it as it’s cooking so you can get it as soft as you want.

I love it and I can feel less guilty about having spaghetti multiple times a week because this is healthier than regular spaghetti and it's full of healthy fiber. The texture is slightly firmer that regular spaghetti, but the taste is just as awesome.

Typically purchase a different brand of chickpea noodles, but decided to try this one. It’s a much healthier option (at least provides a lot of extra protein) and I think it tastes better than regular noodles. I recommend cooking these 7 minutes and quickly rinsing with cold water once drain off boiling water to keep noodles more firm and less sticky!

Texture is definitely different; but in a good way. It has firmer denser (al dente) feel when biting into the noodle. Noodle has a nuttier flavor but it is not over whelming when paired w/ a marinera sauce.
