Q: How do you manually reverse it? I don't see a switch in the zoom-in picture.
A: Thank you for you question. To manually reverse the fan, you will have to physically remove it from the window, turn it around, and reinstall the fan in your window. This fan is equipped with a control switch on both sides of the fan for easy access when using for either intake or exhaust purposes.submitted byHolmes Brand Team - 6 years agoBrand expert
A: I just got two shipped to me. There is NO reverse switch. If you want it to blow out, you simply have to turn the whole unit around! Hahahahaha! You are able to set the on-off-speed from both front and back at least.submitted byJivefive99 - 5 years ago

Q: How wide is this fan? Will it fit a 20" wide window?
A: I don't own this, but am considering buying it. The "Item Details" give this information about dimensions: Includes: Window Extenders Dimensions: 11.000 inches H x 22.000 inches W x 4.000 inches D Weight: 5.000 pounds Minimum Expandable Width: 22.000 inches Maximum Expandable Width: 33.250 inches Maximum Extended Height: 10.000 inches Hope that helps.submitted byProudMom - 6 years ago

Q: our window is 34”.do you thinks its gonna be fit?
A: Sure will! Has flaps on each side that cover the remaining space. One is fixed and one adjustable. I don't like this fan since its not powerful enough, cannot exhaust air with a switch so you have to remove it, flip and now the controls are on the outside! Look for one that has exhaust switch, more power, two adjustable flaps and separate controls for each fan.submitted bySam - 6 years ago

Q: Does the cord come out of the left side, right side, or center of the fan?
A: The HAWF2021TG's cord comes from the underside of the fan, directly from the center. It is designed this way to make it more versatile in different home layouts. Thank you for your question.submitted byHolmes Brand Team - 6 years agoBrand expert

Q: Does this have to be on a window? What if you don't have one?
A: Yes, because it will not stand on its own. By putting it by the window, youre bringing the breeze from outside going inside the room.submitted byHomemakercarson - 6 years ago
