Q: Will this bra hold disposable nursing pads in it?

A: Yes, it will hold disposable nursing pads. If you are currently pregnant and are buying for after delivery make sure to buy at least 2 cup sizes bigger. I made the mistake of ordering my size forgetting to take into consideration that my milk would eventually come in.

A: Although the Bravado! BASICS Comfort Maternity and Nursing Bra does not accommodate hands-free nursing, you can most definitely use a breast pump while wearing the garment by releasing the Bclips on the cups. Should you wish to pump hands-free, we would recommend trying the Bravado! BASICS Women's Pumping and Nursing Bra or using the Bravado! BASICS Clip & Go Pumping Accessory with the Bravado! BASICS Comfort Maternity and Nursing Bra.

Q: The description says this bra is padded. Is it a built in pad or removable? I do not want a removable pad because they bunch up when nursing and always come out in the laundry!

A: It's not padded like a normal "t-shirt bra". It's more like a sleeping bra. I returned it because I need some padding.

Q: How do I know what size to get ? Assuming I will need to go up in size, I am only 16 weeks now, but want to make sure it works for all of pregnancy

A: (Depends on what pregnancy this is for you) The first pregnancy you can go from 1-3 cup sizes once your milk comes in. I would not recommend buying a bra until you 30-35 weeks that will be the closest size to the size you'll be after milk comes in.

So comfortable and very light (my size is a 36 B). I wear this both at night and during the day. I’ve only worn it during the pregnancy, but the few things I’ve noticed are the front clips can be a little tricky to open. Practice makes perfect. And the bra doesn’t have much padding, which may not be a huge deal once you have nursing pads in for some. I like how it is a lighter padding bra and it’s super comfy.

The material is soft and comfortable. I’m a 34B and it gives me the support I need but can still be worn to sleep. I use a nursing pad to create a little more discreet coverage and the outline doesn’t show through the bra.

Not enough support. I have an electric breast pump and it doesn’t hold it in really good, I can also see my nipples through my shirt because there are no padding in it.

However, I'm a 40 G, so not wearing one isn't really an option outside of my home. This bra offers support without looking boxy like a sports bra and without the dreaded wires. This is a nice maternity bra because it has extra straps to maneuver the girls around without having to remove it. I'm satisfied.

Anyway, this bra is excellent for sleep and lounging. It is great worn outside the house as well, but keep in mind that it is not an underwire with push up padding- it is more like a thinner, stretchy sports bra without pads. I'm a D cup and this provided me with great support, the band didn't dig in, straps are comfortable and adjustable, and the best part- the hooks on the bra straps are a snap flat type hook, and is easily unhooked and hooked with one hand so your other hand is free to hold baby, or adjust your nursing situation. It washes well and I would definitely recommend!
