Q: Could tell me the head size, taper, head diameter of the screw. I need them to be 3/4 inch for the project we are using. We are putting them in doors and not in the wall.

These look great but caution, they have stained our towels. I plan to coat them with a black poly or paint of some sort since the hooks were mounted to the back of brand new doors during renovation. Seems to happen with damp towels only.

I purchased this for my bathroom towels, as described in the product info. My white towels now have reddish-pink iron stains on them from where the metal and damp towel met. I’m really hoping I can get the stains out of my towels. Nice hooks- but not for anything damp.
