A: The company’s answer is curious when the description clearly states you can put sand, water or rice in the bin. What good is sensory bin that cannot be filled?

There are pretty small shape pieces. My daughter who is three just likes to play with the light box. It’s good practice to name shapes and colors. It’s a very neat thought. I like the sheets it comes with to build images.

A Christmas gift for my almost 3.5 year old son. So far we've used it for water play and his favorite has been kinetic sand with his little machinery toys. My only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is I wish the bin was a little bit bigger or taller and that it scratches quite easily. Other than that, I think he will get many years of fun and educational play from this

Hi Ninfa - Thank you for your question. We are wondering if you have tried to replace the batteries with new brand name ones. The lights shouldn't be flickering and it may just be that you need to put if new fresh ones.

While supervised, my little one absolutely adores this activity kit. The light table is a very great way to help kiddos explore with different senses with an added visual aspect. Used in multiple different ways without taking up tons of space. We love that you can plug it in or use batteries and it kept my kiddo busy and attending for a long period of time. A lot of creativity and exploration - perfect product.

We loved the light board! The kids enjoyed making pictures, matching shapes, mixing colors, and creating scenes while using this board. It kept them entertained for SO long because amount of open ended activities with it are endless. We do wish there was a storage compartment on the light board to store the objects in while not being used.
