Super cute product but WAY more difficult than it looks. And directions are only ok.

Its was tricky to assemble the two halves using the connectors as they wouldnt go in all the way and some of the beads started sliding off. So I cut the connectors a bit shorter and they fitin just fine and were only slightly loose, but not so loose that they fall off bend out of shape. The instructions for the bow are horribly explained but I did it my own way. It isn't perfect but it looks pretty good!

Cute and easy craft. Turns out just like the picture. The clear connectors are tricky to get on but they do work with a little hand strength!

This was a super cute but simple craft! A good majority of it could be completed with your little but once it comes to 'connecting' the two pumpkin halves, you will definitely want to take over. The rubber connects are a bit tough to get on, especially when you are trying to keep the beads from falling off. I laid the two halves on the ground and carefully attached them enough to where they wouldnt fall out of the rubber pieces. I do like that yiu could easily paint the beads (if you wanted to). You are provided with split beads to attach them over the rubber pieces. The glue that is provided does seem to dry pretty fast, which is a plus! I didnt put the bow on yet, but i thought it still looked cute with just the greenery! I do love that the instructions provide you the info on how to make the bow! All in all, super cute craft!

I don't know why this is marketed for ages 8+. My 9 yr old daughter got as far as string the beads onto the pumpkin. The next step was using little rubber tubes to connect the top half of the pumpkin to the bottom half. She asked me for help and they are very difficult to put in place. In the process I bent one of the wires, tried using needle nose pliers which shredded the tubing, spilled the beads everywhere, and ended up with a blister on my finger. They are still not sufficiently attached, but I'm giving up for now and this may ultimately end up in the garbage. The next part of the craft, tying the bow, also looks to be too difficult for most kids to do without adult help. Do not recommend for kids.

This is a great craft project for all ages. It comes with everything you need to complete except scissors to cut the ribbon and wire. Even younger kids can do much of it themselves. I had fun building it with my son. It is adorably rustic in its final form, but you can take it next level and paint it if you’re feeling ambitious. Definitely recommend.

This requires assembly so you will have to make this out of the box, I personally wish it would it came assembled and ready to hang because I don’t think especially the bow to make it look like the picture on the box.
