The Bears VS Babies Game is the perfect way to spend some quality time with the
whole family! This fun game takes about 20 minutes to play. This is a card
game, where you create monsters who eat babies. Featuring quirky artwork by
Matthew Inman, this strategic monster-building card game is the ideal Christmas
gift for your family. Made by the creators of Exploding Kittens, this game is
sure to make your day!
My family just loves this game. It is really weird but we loved exploding kittens which is just as weird as this one. We play with kids and adults and everyone enjoys it. It is a little expensive which I don’t like. It is about a 20-30 minute game depending on how many people you have.
We purchased this for a “ family” game thinking everyone would enjoy it including college age boys. It turned out that our twelve year old was the one who truly loved it everyone else NOT so much! It was just ok. It seemed to drag on. We did need to watch a YouTube video to make sure we were playing correctly which does help! There is so many better games out there to spend money on and for this price, I believe you are paying for the cute:furry box not the actual content. Sure game night is fun just not with this game.
One of the few games I have ever thrown out. This game is boring and without challenge. After a round my weekly game group and I watch a video on how to play, think we must have missed something. But no, after finishing the video we realized it is just a really bad game.
I bought because of the high star rating but I dont know why the 5 star reviews. It has complicated rules and the video doesn’t cover all the special cards. You have to hide cards but simultaneously be able to see what you build so it’s hard for kids to do. It’s just not too exciting or fun. The pics are the best part and they are kind of meh. Played one time and never again.
This game was played on multiple occasions with players 6 players and also the NSFW expansion. This game has a great art style and sticks with it and the packaging alone is what catches peoples' attention. Gets you wondering what it is and how it is played and to make it even better the amazing game exploding kittens share the same game creators. The game takes some time to read over the rules and explain so it's not one of those games you can bust out and start playing with randoms immediately, but rather close friends who have time or families. The game requires you to create monsters to fight 3 different types of babies based on your monsters attack power and the total score of the babies placed in that pile. The felt mat to place the cards on does help guide the players on what is where but besides that the rules are vague on some rules and the game feels like it needs more cards(probably indicating that they want people to buy the expansions) and due to that the main game alone feels slightly lacking. The replay value is High for all the possibilities to create monsters and fighting babies but loses its hilarity and flare after a few plays. If this game starts to release larger expansions then the base game is worth it. If you really want the fuzzy box... no one is stopping you.
